Does anyone know how I can go about changing my @RCSLT membership from annual to monthly payments? I’ve tried to get in touch with the RCSLT but haven’t heard anything back
why is it that when I’ve been off for 6 weeks w a broken wrist, I come back to work to the awful moment where all my work passwords need changing. I didn’t sign up for this extreme sport :/ 🤯

started to get stuck in, in CJLD and it’s honestly incredible how much variety there is in my role. In the space of a week, I’ve been to service users home, schools, court and police custody! 🤯 feeling very supported and trusted by @SLTclare_ to be more and more autonomous 🤍

#mysltday supported a capacity assessment & modelled good communication (visuals, simplified language, written options, breaks, accessible debrief). Social worker fedback ‘without you I’d have deemed him to not have capacity’ - nice win 🥳
This time last year I submitted my diss on SLCN in Liaison and Diversion and now I’ve accepted a band 6 role in CJLD 🥹 come full circle, and I’m so excited to be a part of this service 🥳
🧵 I have a patient that the doctors called ‘selective whispering’. He speaks very very quietly because of an old delusional belief that his depot has caused him to lose his voice. I explored quiet voice v loud voice further with him this week.
🧵 and did consider whether this was feeding into his original delusional belief around his voice. I got mixed responses. I suggested imagining talking loudly (like LSVT) and practicing set functional phrases we could practice speaking louder and louder each time.
