Congratulations @TuckerN34 of @Erwin_Baseball on Your Commitment to @BCNadoBaseball
After an early visit and camp, Tucker knew Brevard's culture, education, and location was exactly what he was looking for. The Recruiting Process can take a while though and Tucker did well to manage it in away that explored several options. All his work only amplified his preference for Brevard, so when Coach @VinnyCarone extended the offer, it was easy decision for Tucker.
The Senior C/1B can now get back to work at helping Coach @Jonesy_823 and his fellow Warriors prepare to compete in the MAC as they have aspirations to finish in the op of half the standings this Spring

2027 C @TuckerN34 of @Erwin_Baseball has quietly established himself as one of the most reliable Catchers in the WNC Mountains.
Has some hit tools. Good backside approach allows him to be competitive against the FB and the CB. Exit Velos topped at 88 in BP on 6/10. Starting to develop XBH pop with good weight transfer in the swing. His 5'11" 165 frame is slender and athletic, looks like he can hold more good weight. Competitive ABs when facing live arms during our Prospect Filming.
Steady behind the plate, blocks up pretty well. Pop Times between 2.07-2.13. Hands are quick on the transfer but needs to add some more arm strength behind it. Has been Varsity C since Sophomore season gaining some solid experience.
Playing this Summer with @nextlevelbbnc. Great character, respectful, hard worker. 3.6 GPA with an interest in studying Business.

Tucker Nicholson (2027, NC) goes down and gets a low fastball on the outer half, driving it to the opposite field for a RBI single. Very minimal movement, No stride and keeps feet planted before rotating. #PG1718UBCSCOASTAL

Congratulations to Jax Holt of @Erwin_Baseball on being named the "Good Iced Tea" Player of the Week for the Week of March 2 - 7
Jax blew up during the in-season Polk County Tournament this past Saturday, hitting 3 Homeruns with 2 Doubles and 8 RBIs in Erwin's two games vs Brevard and Tuscola.
For the week, Holt was 7 for 14 with 10 RBIs and 5 Runs to go along with the 5 XBHs in a total of 4 games.
Erwin is a young team, but they have an opportunity to outplay expectations thanks to a group of talented underclassmen including Holt.
