At this point, I would rather try to persuade all of crypto that we need a multi-coin strategy to defeat CBDCs then try to persuade people to move all into one coin.
We simply don’t have the time. CBDCs are almost here, but they aren’t inevitable. I have preferred coins, and a detailed analysis coming out describing why shortly; however, I don’t want to fight with anyone who is making an effort for p2p digital cash (crypto, gold, silver) as a viable alternative to fiat/CBDCs.

Why is there an argument on what you want to call it. No matter what you want to call it you still have to pay $5/year. Seeing people argue about this has been the goofiest thing ever.

Lighting is not a solution. It only works with centralized hubs. Governments are cracking down. Exodus, Wallet of Satoshi, now Phoenix.
Stop thinking p2p digital cash will be a thing on Bitcoin BTC. It's not happening.

Imagine not building something better than fiat or CBDCs and bragging about it.

The userbase of ENS is bigger than what most people realise. It comprises individual users, teams, projects, devs, initiatives, protocols, blockchains, educators, private enterprise, and so much more.
It's my thinking that the biggest waves of adoption will happen by way of broad & many integrations, and through BYO communities which tailor their ENS use & integration to their own group of users. Rightly so, as they understand their community best, and get to design with ENS flexibly. There will also be new utility & functions built because of ENS tech exists and the reach of the many communities already using ENS names.
And with all that said, I believe it crucial that traders, domainers and speculators understand that ENS development does not revolve around their sole intentions but rather is for EVERY user.
In many ways, any .eth owner, whether they have one name or many names, are not worth less or more than each other.
By design, independent & dedicated marketplaces have risen, working hard to serve the ENS users who are traders, domainers, etc and their platforms work really well. These companies are mission focused to provide for their niche.
And that's kind of the point.. mission focused -- ENS is developing a truly remarkable 100 year protocol and do so alongside many other great contributors expanding the ecosystem.
The future state so many are working towards is ultimately a landscape that makes things brighter, including to each other’s interests. As for today, it's bigger than any one type of user base and certainly isn't a short term race to simply trade names, as a trade off to the that future state.
ENS is for everyone. Builders are cooking.

. @yugalabs Why are you trying to censor your own community? @cryptopunks @cryptopunks_ce
We've been battling take-down requests against cryptopunks.eth from @DoppelHQ & @yugalabs for 3+ months. We responded to these requests and received no response!
To our knowledge this is a community run marketplace for cryptopunks. The website clearly states: "This website is not affiliated, associated, endorsed by, or in any way officially connected with Yuga Labs, Inc."
For public transparency below is one of the takedown requests and our reply.

The ENS airdrop saved my life when I lived in Arusha, Tanzania with no money for years.
Now I'm incredibly honored to have a tour company welcoming people to this incredibly beautiful and peaceful part of the world.
