I LOVE Nollywood as an industry and Iโm invested in seeing it grow as such I love to see broader representations of it beyond the VCD era Nollywood nostalgia tropes. I also love nuanced representations of Nigerians, our accents, the ways we behave etc. Itโs my preference. Itโs fine that you enjoyed the sketch, I love that for you. If you felt proud of its representation, I love that for you too. It just wasnโt for me and thatโs okay. I still love the Cynthia and British/Naija creatives that worked on it.
