[Climate Report] Today's observed high temperatures: #Boston 61, #Providence 68, #Hartford 66 and #Worcester 62. These temps are about 10 degs cooler than normal. About another 90 mins of daylight with #sunset this evening just before 7 pm (Boston 6:53 pm & Hartford 6:59 pm).

Heat & humidity return this weekend & last into early next week. Main concern is potential for excessive heat, especially Sunday/Monday, when the heat index could reach 95-100F in many locations. Now is a good time to review these heat safety rules!

Our next winter storm system will be moving into our area on Tuesday. Current snowfall totals are forecast to be 4-6 inches in the greater Boston area. The bulk of this will fall between 4-8pm on Tuesday, with a period of sleet from 8pm-midnight before the transition to rain.
