There was a bareknuckle boxer in the 1770s called Stephen Oliver who was simply nicknamed "Death". At first read, you'd assume it was cause he was terrifying. Maybe a massive puncher, maybe an intimidating character. But apparently its just cause he looked really unwell lmao

We don't know that there will ever be good cards again, we just hope
🧐 could at least have called it "The Last Last Good Card of 2026" @BoxingBusch @EvilGregJackson

wholesome search and rescue tech will also come with a payload delivery system that will bring hikers snacks that weighs exactly 3kg
Purdue University's IDEAS Lab built an autonomous drone that tracks runners through dense forests completely without GPS or cloud networks. By running 3D LiDAR mapping and obstacle-avoidance AI entirely on-chip, it can weave under tree canopies and predict target movement through blind spots in real time. Massive implications for next-gen search & rescue and edge AI.

Somehow this advert has managed to produce a controversy combining The Dress with the Duck God/Rabbit God cartoon.
Disgusting insinuation in this campaign. Absolutely appalling @MayorofLondon @TfL @ACT

Listening to my guy @JackSlackMMA talk on his podcast about those little stance disrupting low kicks that guys like Machida would use to set up punches reminded me of this thread below I did of Alexander Volkanovski, Jim Miller and Yoel Romero working off of similar principles 👇
It’s a small detail, but I love when fighters use balance-disrupting leg kicks to get beats on their opposition like Alex Volkanovski does to Chad Mendes here… Debases the stance with an inside leg kick, then utilizes shifts, prodding shots and a high guard to close in #UFC266

It’s extremely funny that both California and the UK have a “we had to reroute this extremely expensive piece of infrastructure to respect a gravesite” story and the graves are Cesar Chavez and Dobby the elf respectively.

The UFC whipping up another promo calling Mike Malott a “promising young talent” because they don’t have another half-decent Canadian fighter to prop up
You remember Mike Malott is 34 and think "son, what are you doing with your life?"

Mike Malott, who faces Joaquin Buckley at #UFCEdmonton, is 1-0 against UFC-level southpaws (W: A. Fugitt) Mike’s style of using established shots to setup shifting salvos seems to translate well in open-stance affairs. Not reliant on outside-foot awareness w/solid kick counters.

the UFC was desperate to promote a muslim wrestler, that's why it took him ten fights to get the belt and they booked him against hot names like pat healy
friendly reminder that they gave a guy who never won a ufc fight in his entire career a top 10 rank to pad khabib's record😭

So let me guess, not one person there asked White if Strickland had to sign this new deal in order to get his title shot? You’d think that’s something you’d want to confirm.
Dana White reacts to Sean Strickland's UFC pay dispute: "When isn't Sean Strickland upset about something? Sean Strickland just signed a new contract in May. From what I hear, the number he's putting out there is not true... It is what it is."
