Have you ever noticed any tillet blocks in Exeter? A physical reminder of Exeter's powerful merchant past, tillet blocks remain as a logo of the wool merchants whose money helped build the city at the height of the wool trade! These are on display at the @ExeterCustom #History
As Lightbear Lane's intern from the @UniofExeter, I will be researching these historic stamps and investigating how they relate to Exeter's rich trading past - Eloise

Join us for more Tudor Festivities on Saturday at Tuckers Hall, St Nicholas Priory @nixpriory and Exeter Guildhall! henryontour.uk/news/fri-0305…
Today we had the honour of welcoming ‘King Henry VIII’ at Exeter Cathedral. ‘King Henry’ processed from Exeter Guildhall with his entourage towards the Cathedral and was greeted with ceremonial Tudor music performed by Exeter University Chapel Choir, and His Majesty’s Sagbutts and Cornetts. The visit was part of Historic Royal Palaces’ ‘Henry VIII on Tour’.
