I've just posted a (rather long) blog indicating our final push towards releasing PBR in Firestorm. Soon, people, real soon. firestormviewer.org/pbr-wher…

I've been watching the user group meetings to see what's up with the 2k texture update, & the bake service (for BoM). It looks like updating it is not a high priority, even though they do plan to do it. They want feedback; here it is! Pls give it a look! feedback.secondlife.com/feat…

Update the Bake Service/Bakes on Mesh for 2k textures | ✨ Feature Requests | Second Life

In regards to the 2k texture project as a whole, updating the bake service is a very important part and I implore that the priority for this is raised.

Thunnus Bay has a MINI lore quest you can play on sim! This quest is actually really short, & takes most people a few hours to a day to do! you have until the 7th, so don't dawdle, and enjoy! SLURL: maps.secondlife.com/secondli…

Since last year, something ridiculously rotund had slipped the fabric time and space and into this so called real world! (This is a prototype we've been working on for a while IRL, we're wondering what you think of it!)

COMING SOON from @ExobyteSL - The LyteHUD PBR update! I've been testing it as they've been working on it. This also works with fallbacks as well, so you can have baked lighting applied with PBR. This means if someone doesn't have PBR on, they can see your non-pbr textures.

Thus, concludes Fantasy Faire 2023. The stories, the enthusiasm for the lore, and the sheer amount of money we have raised for charity on Szystrum Synod alone has been mind boggling this year. This was an amazing experience! Thank you!

If you are a SL creator who makes texture HUDs, and you're NOT using @ExobyteSL LyteHUD, you are giving yourself more stress than necessary. I tried other HUD systems and could never get them to work properly due to poorly writen/translated and overly complicated manuals [...]
