Dude locked the thread and I can't blame him. He has an opinion on a film. This can be a fun discussion. Why take this personally? I grew to like the original. There's a little bit of depth to it and it sets the tone for future films. Things like prophetic dream sequences and ambiguous endings start here. Whether intentional or not, it also keeps the door open for the possibility that Jason was killing alongside Pamela. People often bring up that Pamela wouldn't have the strength to hang somebody from a door or throw somebody through a window. There's another thing that stands out to me though. When Brenda here's Jason screaming for help, his voice sounds exactly as Pamela remembered it. When Pamela speaks as Jason, she sounds nothing like him. So that was either Jason messing with Brenda or it was a hint at a supernatural presence at Camp Crystal Lake. Sorry for the rant. lol... I enjoy talking about this stuff from time to time.

I can speak on this topic. I got my first home under a government loan. They acted like they wanted to help me. I was young and clueless. Despite being current on my payments, I had BARELY touched the principle and ultimately had to file for bankruptcy. My current home costs 5x as much as my first home and my wife and I paid it off in 2 years and 3 days. How? I got educated, I got a decent job, and after I got married my wife and I saved until we could put down a significant down payment. We paid extra every month and submitted payments in between... constantly chipping away at the mortgage. Then when it got low enough we paid it off. These types of loans are scams designed to trap you. Taking one is basically financial suicide. Don't do it.

Nobody who thinks like this has good intentions. Anyone who remembers their own childhood will likely recall many things that we were sure of only to change your minds. I don't think James believes this either. I think he and other weak minded politicians are nothing more than donor puppets who say what they're told to say.

One of the many reasons I align with the political right is that they are able to explain their position. I have yet to have an objective conversation with a progressive and I've been trying to for over a decade now. It's how I started learning about politics.

The progressives sharing the video of the young woman claiming there's a "Devil in the White House" are quite literally encouraging her to trap herself in a state of emotional hysteria. She made no tangible point. She just said things and cried.

According to Grok, JJ Abbott receives a nice $130K salary from his progressive non-profit. He's not fighting for the for anything or anyone than his next paycheck. He will fall in line with ANYTHING the Progressive Dems do because that's his job.

We have already allowed Government to do just about everything that we fear regarding AI. They are supposed to defend this country and serve the American people. That feels more like a side quest than the main mission.

Progressives push very fragile narratives that cannot be challenged. So they create echochambers where their rhetoric can be spewed to the emotionally vulnerable without being challenged. @CarnegieMellon thinks that this controversy will go away in time. It will not.

8 years of infertility and a perfectly healthy child at 40.5! More people should see this. Things feel so dark and hopeless sometimes. We never really know when something life changing like this will happen. That possibility should inspire us to keep going.
