#Money is supposed to be an economic consequence realization mechanism.
#Fiat money, and the ability to print it, creates the necessary wiggle room for a few privileged economic actors to dislocate themselves from the negative consequences of their own suboptimal economic actions and redistribute those negative consequences to everyone else.
#Capitalism isn’t broken. Our money is broken.
#Bitcoin fixes this.

The median U.S. family income in 1971 was 252.2 oz of gold.
That would be $1,053,623/yr today.

I’m about to tell you something that will piss you off
(but you need to hear it):
You are 50× more productive than someone in 1950.
So why aren’t you 50× wealthier?
Your grandfather built cars by hand.
You design them with computers.
Your great-grandmother calculated by slide rule.
You process data at light speed.
Every productivity gain should have made you richer.
Instead, wages don’t keep up with prices as…
• Houses cost 10× more relative to income
• College costs 20× more
• Healthcare costs 15× more
All those productivity gains should flow back into the economy to everyone. But where did they go?
The banking cartel siphoned it off through money printing.
Every dollar they create dilutes the dollars you earn.
Productivity gains taken.
Right under our noses.
Trillions stolen.
Bitcoin ends the heist.
With hard money, all productivity gains go to holders of Bitcoin.
Thus, life gets less expensive.
Understand?

Every dollar you earn costs you something you can never get back.
Your life.
In 2016, $1,000 represented 47 hours of median-wage labor.
Today? Just 32 hours.
Same $1,000. 15 hours of stored labor gone.
Gold multiplied your stored labor ~2.5×.
Bitcoin? ~65×.
In 2016, one Bitcoin represented 35 hours of work.
Today, that same Bitcoin represents 2,278 hours.
Read that again.
35 hours became 2,278.
They can print more dollars.
They cannot print more of your life.
Stop storing your finite life in infinitely expandable money.
TAKE BACK YOUR TIME.

And here it was explained, three and a half years earlier, why inflation remains unfixed, fiscal dominance is more in the news, and ultimately, nothing stops this train.

When you “own” your house, you don’t really “own” your house.
Home ownership is really just graduating from leasing your house from a middleman to leasing it directly from the state (the true owner).
Try making an improvement to your home without permission or try not paying your property taxes (your lease payment) and you will find out who really owns your home very quickly.
Home ownership is a lie. It’s a lease with some of the benefits of ownership, but don’t confuse it with actual ownership.
The dream of home ownership is really the dream of a life long lease from the state.

This is a real campaign ad and maybe one of the greatest of all time.

Money is memory. It remembers that you worked. That you built something. Sold something. Sacrificed something. Gave up an hour of your finite life.
You accepted money because you believed that memory could be carried into the future.

The human mind requires time to form meaning.
We read. We think. We connect new information to memory. We argue with ourselves. We sleep on things.
Meaning is not simply information received.
It is information metabolized through time.

Why can't you ever slow down?
It's not you.
A debt-based money has to manufacture urgency.
The whole system stalls if you stop running.
Fix the money: you get your life back.
Value flow is the true economic lifeblood that traditional cash flow only attempts to count using government money as a proxy.

Money, time, and meaning are the exact same thing.
I spent 2 hours with John Vervaeke and Robert Gray taking that apart, and it rewired how I see all 3. Here's everything I learned:
1. money is a language you think in
#Bitcoin is unique in that it’s a chain that actually sets you free.
