I was interviewed on Spanish national television about the current state of Chainlink. Here are some highlights:

Chainlink buys 1.5M ethereum:0x514910771af9ca656af840dff83e8264ecf986ca a quarter. And releases 20M.
Q3 Reserve inflow: 1.54M LINK
Quarterly unlocks: ~20M LINK
(June: 21M unlocked, 18.37M sent to Binance)
That’s 13x more supply out than in
And that 1.5M isn’t the buyback you think it is.
The Reserve doesn’t burn anything. It moves LINK
into a timelocked treasury controlled by Labs.
LINK holders get no vote on its policy.
Holders have no claim on company revenue beyond
what lands in the Reserve.
There’s no public rule on what % of revenue has to
go in.
How much value flows to LINK is entirely at management’s discretion.
That’s where the conflict of interest in this thread comes from.
Every LINK that goes into the Reserve is revenue
Labs doesn’t keep, and Labs is the one deciding.
Honestly, the tech is the best in the space.
But if you’re wondering why 7 years of institutional
headlines haven’t moved the price, the answer isn’t
the business. It’s these numbers.
Great write-up from @ChainLinkGod
A solid explanation on why Chainlink Labs is $LINK driven.
But I’m left wondering:
How do $LINK Reserve deposits impact Chainlink Labs value?
This 🧵 will highlight this dynamic, shedding some light on the big picture.
Let’s dive in ⬇️

There’s also a remarkable irony here: Chainlink’s entire mission is to build a financial system that minimizes the need for trust, yet LINK holders are essentially being asked to operate on a “trust us, bro” basis. They’re expected to trust that management will eventually translate enormous institutional adoption into meaningful token value, without a clear commitment about when or how that will happen. For a project dedicated to replacing trust with verifiable systems, that’s quite a contradiction.
LINK:NYC was an embarrassment.
@SergeyNazarov looked unhealthy, vaguely quoted $LINK was "crucial". Crucial for bankrolling your vaporware factory, sure.
To add insult to injury, chief of marketing, @rorypiant was absent, hasn't tweeted in 20 days. Things aren't well at CLL.

Public service announcement to the @chainlink community or anyone who holds the $link token.
@chainlinklabs definitely definitely does have shareholders, and their interest are directly opposed to yours.
You need to know this.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.

This is such an important point that I’m going to press.
Please confirm that CLL has shareholders - they may have not have VC/PE - but they definitely have “self interested” SH who are entitled to the entire economic interest of CLL.
It is vital that people here know that!

The "reserve" purchases are ~$60M per year whereas the foundation sells $900M - well over $1B of coins annually. The reserve is an absolute joke.
The reserve was not even a thing until last year when the foundation pivoted away from staking (which doesn't even exist).

"Token needed!"
For what?
"To go to $link's Lab's reserve!"
Watching Sergey continuously shit in his holders mouths and watching them continuously call it delicious will never not be funny to me.
What happens to $LINK if the Democrats take the House and subpoena @worldlibertyfi?
Imagine the findings on the @chainlinklabs deals with @SergeyNazarov & @ChrisBarrett just to buy Trump access and dump tokens on retail.
Here is @SergeyNazarov with @WatcherChase & @zakfolkman of @worldlibertyfi, running a money laundering scheme/crypto scam for Trump & Witkoff.
This is how @chainlink got WH access for their failed Clarity lobbying campaign. @ChrisBarrett, who ran it, should be immediately fired.

You are so full of shit, respectfully. The token is WORTHLESS. It’s $11 after being in business a decade. They walked back every promise to stakers, they never paid GMX fees, they never added price feeds or additional services to their staking mechanism. The token just keeps getting dumped quarterly for Sergey’s fat pockets. This has been going on for a decade. You have no idea what you’re talking about.
Institutions have said out loud they prefer fiat payments. Nothing gets sent to token holders. CCIP has been live for years and the fees keep getting smaller and smaller. The token is down 80% from all-time high, while the rest of crypto exploded. All these integrations have added zero to the token’s value.
Stop lying. The truth is “onchain”, so you’re not fooling anyone carrying water for these demons
Vibe researching certainly would make my job easier, yet I still do it the old fashioned way. I’ve been covering crypto professionally since 2020. I have a fundamental framework I use to value cryptocurrencies, which was applied here. It centers on the competitive angles, risks, and tokenomics. Had calls with the team at Chainlink to address areas where i found gaps in process.
I also think we fairly addressed the issue you bring up:
LINK holders do not receive direct cash flows, so revenue growth may not translate directly into LINK appreciation.
This is a common risk of many cryptocurrencies.
Our base case was demand for chainlink grows in-line with the broader crypto market. 2020/2021 will always be an overhang in the short term for many cryptocurrencies because the price rises were based on no fundamentals whatsoever. With institutions starting to use blockchains, fundamentals matter more going forward.
The only way $LINK accrues value is if @chainlinklabs increases the reserve buyback. Problem: no one knows where that reserve's revenue comes from or whether it's even real.
Meanwhile, the $LINK token plays no role in their products.
My bet: Chainlink will abandon their token.

Yes and this is a huge part of why the scam is so obvious. When you integrate something and multiply it over the course of several years, the numbers go up. Or at least, they should. Not here
If you ask around this space what the most successful retail scam project is, I’ll answer very quickly: it’s Chainlink.
After more than 3 years of operation, their fee revenue still averages only around $500 a day.
Haven’t they integrated thousands of projects since 2020? It’s all just marketing, and there’s no real demand from the partners.
The $LINK token has been dropping in price since 2020, and you still believe them?
I called this bozo, @IOV_WOL, out for his softball interview with Chainlink a few months ago and he immediately blocked me. Not surprised he's "invited".
You're only welcome at Chainlink events if you kiss their ass like just @CryptoMichNL & @QuintenFrancois.

This guy keeps shilling the $LINK token non-stop, yet his portfolio doesn’t hold a single $LINK token. This makes it clear he’s being paid by Chainlink Labs to promote $LINK. In this space, you shouldn’t trust anyone just because they have a large following
The weekly update on the #Altcoin portfolio.
It's currently at $180,000.
At the start of August, it was just $75,000.
I'm currently 85% allocated into the markets, as I do continue to expect to see a strong move in the coming period on #Altcoins.
My largest allocations are:
- $EIGEN
- $W
- $PLUME
- $TAO
It's a great mix of Ethereum ecosystem, Solana ecosystem, RWA and AI.
I've scaled down my positions into $NEAR and $GRASS (the last one was fully closed for a 120% gain in less than two weeks).
I've added in the recent correction into $PLUME and $EIGEN.
I'm planning to be writing weekly updates, but if you're looking for real-time updates with all of my trades (sells and buys) and educational content + extra daytrades, join me here:

Chainlink's Reserve buys $1.1M of LINK per week. A single quarterly unlock dumps roughly $240M worth. The math is brutal.

@chainlink did 40 integrations alone in September and the price of $LINK goes down
One of the two is true: Tokenomics is significantly broken, or Chainlink doesn’t make any revenue off these partnerships.
Pick one.
On the CLL payroll for probably $250k a year:

This is where my job as a PR girl comes in.
My job is to take incredibly technical concepts and translate them into stories that anyone can understand. And today, tokenization came up again and again: What is a tokenized stock? How does it work? What infrastructure makes it possible? How is Chainlink powering it?
These are complicated concepts, but they don’t have to be complicated stories.
I genuinely think the language we use to talk about crypto has been one of the biggest barriers to the industry reaching a broader audience.
