Day 1/2 of my Affinity clone. I ditched EGUI because AI wasn't getting it. @threejs + Webgpu here I come.
I am making it as fast as it can be (profiling with more than 10k layers).
I am so stocked about how 2 days of code turned out, it looks very nice in my opinion and I will definitely use it after the end of the

Building with muse code is fun. Very fast model, clean code. Use Opus or Sol for the plan and architecture and then let the Meta models go! @Meta

I am building Affinity using EGUI and WGPU.
Since switching to Linux almost full time, I have had issues where I cannot express myself with Art on this OS.
Yes GIMP exists but it's so bad in UI, I cannot even use it.
Yes PhotoCraft exists but it's not stable.
I need an alternative that runs very very well on my IGPU, and will be doing only the features I need.
This Hackaton has a 1M$ Cash Prize btw. Still doing it as a solo builder ;)
