Excellent! Sen. Jon Ossoff is calling for a constitutional amendment to overturn Citizens United. It should never be allowed for billionaires/oligarchs like Musk, who pumped almost half a billion dollars into the midterm election, to buy our politicians and government.

El-Sayed: "People don't trust our party because too often we're funded by the very same people who fund Republicans... Can we actually cut the cord that we've had to corporate money and start governing like we give a damn about working people?"

Ossoff won his senate seat with one of the largest margin of victory of any democrats. Time to make him the face of the Democratic Party, the young and energetic, not the old and tired. Ossoff for Senate majority leader! I’m calling it.

Ossoff: While the wealthy and well-lobbied feast on inside information and official favors, America's forgotten families are treated to systemic corporate disrespect and official indifference, working harder and harder while the treadmill just gets faster and steeper, and the bills get higher and higher.
Instead of reading your daughter her favorite book that precious spare hour after work, you're on the phone begging the insurance company to cover the medicine that prevents her seizures.
You report the black mold to your landlord, who doesn't fix the leak, and the ambulance for your toddler's asthma attack is followed by a $3,000 bill.
For too many, home ownership’s a fantasy. Family farms face ruin. And while health care’s never cost more, plastics invade our bodies, blood, and breast milk. Toxic forever chemicals taint half the country's drinking water, and polluters have been granted fresh license to poison our air.

Bernie Sanders:
Democrats must enact a national moratorium on AI data centers, must pause advanced AI development, and ban superintelligence.
A moratorium on data centers is exactly what the American people want.

I would like to formally recognize Elizabeth Warren as a replacement nominee for Senate Majority Leader.
There is no Senator with a more progressive voting record—not even Bernie Sanders.
She is the only member of Congress to:
• Denounce AIPAC
• Refuse money from special interest groups
• Publicly post her tax returns every year
She supports:
• Universal healthcare
• Universal childcare
• Increasing the tax burden on billionaires
• Free public college for all
• Large-scale clean energy investments
• Overturning Citizens United
• Criminal justice reform, including ending private prisons
• Strong consumer protection (she helped create the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau)

Bernie Sanders is the unsung hero of the Democratic Party.
He ran so Adelita Grijalva, Abdul El-Sayed, Analilia Mejia, AOC, Kiros, Mamdani, Flanagan, & many others could soar.
His progressive policies will one day be the bedrock of our nation.
Thank you Bernie,
We love you.

The first thing our new CONGRESS needs to do is overturn Citizens United and give the power back to the real live people!

Bernie Sanders: “In America today, we spend more on the military than the next six nations combined. We must end this disastrous war, we must cut off all funding for the genocidal government in Israel, and we must substantially reduce military spending. Instead of pouring $1.1T into a bloated Pentagon and never ending wars, a Democratic Congress must build the best public education system in the world with no teacher earning less than $60K a year”

This is what we see when we wake up every morning in Gaza; everything is rubble and destruction.
Israel has made the city uninhabitable.

I love this man and apparently our nation does too.
Bravo, America!
Sen. Ossoff: Our task is not just to contain one president's wickedness, but to heal the brokenness beneath. This is a moment not for restoration, but for reformation. Because while the wealthy feast on inside information and official favors, America's forgotten families are treated to official indifference, working harder and harder while the treadmill just gets faster and steeper.

7 months ago, AOC and I introduced an AI data center moratorium.
Last night, 43 of 44 communities voted for one locally.
Americans don’t want Big Tech oligarchs wrecking the environment, gutting jobs and threatening humanity’s future.
NATIONAL DATA CENTER MORATORIUM NOW

This is your Election Day reminder that we really, really need to overturn Citizens United and get big, dark money out of our politics.

Share our posts. Leave a dot in the comments. Make our voices heard.
Every share, every comment, and every act of solidarity matters. The algorithm of genocide and oppression can be challenged through collective resistance, public exposure, and continued condemnation of the Israeli terrorist regime.
Do not underestimate the power of your voice. Silence helps injustice. Speaking out is an act of resistance.
Stand with Gaza. Keep sharing. Never stop speaking out.
