No wonder Toto had to promise to not bring Verstappen to Merc while Hamilton was there he'd have been having a public meltdown every week after getting shoved off at turn 1 every race
🚨| Lewis Hamilton: "[Charles Leclerc] been here a long time. He's at eight years. Nine wins in the team. He's very much embedded within the team, and I knew that it would always be a challenge."
"I've always respected that, and I've approached the team. I've really worked hard to build a good relationship with Charles and bridge the gap and make sure that we're harmonious and we work hard together. Always try to be respectful."
"Naturally, it's not so easy having someone like me come into a team because I'm very outspoken, and I push and push and push and push for so many changes."

This is Hamilton’s post. He talks about standards and opportunities and you have to wonder if he thinks that standards applies to everyone equally, including hi.
Unfortunately results and team harmony will speak louder than his social media posts, which he obviously can’t grasp.

But he said on air that they did talk before. So is he admitting he’s a liar.
This is a 41 year old man, treating staff like skivvies…..it’s beyond comprehension what an absolute moron and man child he is.

Mario Miyakawa on Lewis’s comments about Charles:
« There are certain drivers, Hamilton in particular, but in the past Alonso as well, and Maurizio knows this very well, who are very good at manipulating, and I use the word manipulating, the media and also a certain part of the garage. That's why they make these kinds of statements, which rightly aren't what you would expect from a driver.
I think the attitude Leclerc showed today when speaking to the media was much more appropriate: he simply explained what he had done, rather than someone who speaks up and says, ‘Yes, but we should have done this, we should have done that.’ Of course we should have done that, but leave that to the people whose job it is to make those decisions or speak about that. »

Alonso was the problem
Button was the problem
Rosberg was the problem
Russell was the problem
And now Leclerc is the problem
Funny how that works isn't it
Lewis : « Before I joined this team, when I was in Mercedes, I watched and witnessed the back-and-forth between Charles and Carlos. Several races where they were battling so much that the person ahead just pulled away, and they had the pace to actually win the race.
It’s one thing when that's happening in fourth and fifth as opposed to first and second, and you lose the win. That's significant. The guy is 28 years old, so I don't think it's an age thing. I think it's a mentality thing. It's like do or die. Like, either I win, or none of us do, and it shouldn't be that. It should be, us having got that one-two, which is still a good feeling.
At Silverstone, I could have gone all kamikaze on him and taken him off and lost us the the win, but instead a one-two was there, and I think we got a one-two, or was it a one-three? I'm happy for the team to have experienced that. I'm hopeful we'll work towards a better place in the future. »

Schiff out, Button and Rosberg in with Pinkham - have @SkySportsF1 finally woken up?
If anyone follows @OscarLindg76468 - what an absolute melt! Loses an argument and can’t face a message back!

After @LewisHamilton lost podium position at @F1NightRace in Singapore due to his own losing strategy. Suddenly, he became sick when the race ended just to avoid reporters interviews 🤣
