I'm interviewing Katie Keith. Katie has been leading Barn2 Plugins since 2009 and is a high-profile, award-winning figure in the WordPress community. She has grown Barn2 from nothing into a successful seven-figure global business, with a team of 14 people working across the world. Do you have any thoughtful questions for her that we can include in our interview?

Founder's Message F3 Pakistan is founded on the principle of meritocracy. We believe that people should have the opportunity to lead, grow, and be recognized based on their contribution, commitment, responsibility, and hard work. At F3, leadership and recognition are not determined by wealth, family background, social status, popularity, or personal connections. They are earned through meaningful contributions to the community and the value a person creates for others. F3 Pakistan is not governed through popularity contests or majority voting. While we value different perspectives and encourage open discussion, organizational decisions are made according to F3's mission, principles, responsibilities, and the long-term interests of the community. We believe everyone deserves a fair opportunity to contribute, take responsibility, lead initiatives, and grow within F3. At F3 Pakistan, we value contribution over background, responsibility over popularity, and meaningful work over personal influence.

Dear Freelancers & Founders from Faisalabad, As our community continues to grow, I would like to form an additional core team focused specifically on online community engagement and visibility. Our existing core team plays a vital role in organizing meetups, supporting community activities, and helping behind the scenes. Their contributions remain highly valued and are essential to F3. However, social media engagement has not been a primary focus of the current team, which is why we are looking to establish a dedicated group focused on LinkedIn and X activities. The purpose of this new core team is different. It will focus on strengthening our presence on LinkedIn and X, sharing community updates, highlighting member achievements, promoting events, engaging with members online, and helping increase awareness of F3 among freelancers, founders, companies, and potential sponsors. We prefer LinkedIn and X because these two platforms provide opportunities to connect with sponsors, industry leaders, startup founders, and professionals who may benefit from or support our community. I'm tentatively calling this group the *Core XL Team* (X + LinkedIn), though the name can be discussed. To join this team, members should: * Be a resident of Faisalabad. * Faisalabad-born candidates will be preferred. * Be active on both LinkedIn and X. * Have a history of regular engagement on social media. * Be willing to add F3 to their social media profile bio. * Be willing to engage with the community online on a daily basis. * Be willing to share important F3 announcements through their personal social media accounts. * Support fellow F3 members by engaging with their professional achievements and updates. * Represent F3 professionally in online discussions. Responsibilities of the Core XL Team may include: * Sharing F3 updates, announcements, and event promotions. * Highlighting member achievements, success stories, and milestones. * Publishing meetup photos, videos, and event summaries. * Engaging with freelancers, founders, companies, and community leaders online. * Identifying potential sponsors, speakers, mentors, and partners. * Helping grow the reach of F3 on LinkedIn and X. * Encouraging discussions relevant to freelancing, entrepreneurship, and professional growth. * Welcoming new members and helping them feel connected to the community. * Promoting opportunities that may benefit F3 members. This initiative is intended to complement our existing core team, not replace it. Both teams will contribute in different but equally important ways to help F3 grow. One team focuses primarily on community operations and offline activities, while the other focuses on community engagement and visibility online. If you are interested in becoming part of the Core XL Team, please let me know. Thank you for your continued support. Abdul Rahman Pomy Founder: F3 Pakistan f3.org.pk
