No hiding from this hiding , outplayed and outworked and down to 10 men with injuries, this catholic side gave us a lesson we would rather forget but we will let it ruin our weekend first and go again result Fc Alex 1 catholic 5 - well played catholic @EssexVetsLeague

An @EssexVetsLeague Prem division debut for the boys today as we take on catholic Fc , a team that beat us pre season so we already know it’s a tough day ahead , a new look team for this season with only a few of the old dinosaurs remaining. Team photo pending😊⚽️

Last pre season game for the boys today 🥵 against Ryan Fc and finally but not quite got the full team there,8 friendlies down we won a few , we lost a few but now is the time to get serious if we want to hold our own in our Prem division opener next Saturday against catholic

Another pre season game done and another high scoring game against white Notley , a good run out for both teams. Not easy to get a team out on bank holiday weekend but bare 11 means the legs will ache tomorrow ⚽️😬

An entertaining goal fest of a pre season encounter with new Prem team catholic has paved the way for our first Prem opener on the 16th against them , a talented side and a bunch of nice lads. We now know we are in for a very tough game.

Pre season so far Springfield - W Korona - W Hornminster - D Next up are Catholic , a team that had a very good season getting promoted to the Prem division.

A new look FC ALEX side in pre season action for the first time today ⚽️😊

A decent turnout of 20 today in the 🥵 weather and some good new players on show means we are heading in the right direction in trying to build a team that can take on the Prem division. Are you 35 + and got what it takes still ? Give us a shout @EssexVetsLeague

A nail biting finish to div 1 today as we play Ryan fc who are homing in on a promotion place , fine margins we win we go up , we lose it’s out of our hands and in Ryan’s , either way a fantastic finish in a tough division
