Spoke to @CapitalLaw students with Kyle Stoller from @FCPD_Collective and @realLuke_Ward from AFSCME Council 8 about labor law and supporting workers organizing & fighting for quality contracts. Would be cool for @FCPubDefender to remove its objections & recognize the union!

It’s official, the Franklin County Public Defender’s Office has sent notice that we will be forming a union. Franklin County, Ohio is the 14th largest county by population. Our office has struggled with the increased funding to police departments, unmanageable dockets, etc.
