This will be an FFVII music analysis master tweet thread where I link to all the individual threads I've done. This will be the easiest way to keep these accessible and organized that isn't going to eat up a ton of my time. This is, obviously, ongoing.
Theme spotlight: Cosmo Canyon (Piano Collections). One of two official piano arrangements of this theme (that I'm aware of), it was released on the Piano Collections Final Fantasy VII album. This one was arranged by Shiro Hamaguchi and performed by Seiji Honda.
Good morning. I'm shifting gears for today's theme spotlight. I really enjoy drawing attention to arrangements outside the main titles, and since I'm starting to run out of tracks from main titles, now is the perfect time to pivot for a bit. I hope you all enjoy!
Theme spotlight: Wandering Under the Moonlight (from LAST ORDER FFVII). This theme plays in Ch. 10 of Crisis Core on the Nibel Plains (which includes the sniper minigame). It's an arrangement of "Dear Friend" from Last Order, which also played during Zack and Cloud's escape.
First off, I'm not sure why Twitter posted this twice, but whatever. Secondly, I'm thoroughly enjoying the Ocarina of Time remake so far. I hope all of you who are playing are enjoying it, as well.
Theme spotlight: Prelude to Destruction. This Crisis Core theme plays both when Zack and Cloud enter Jenova's chamber in the mako reactor to confront (or attack) Sephiroth. This occurs in Ch. 9 (8 in Reunion). It's another piano solo, this one a bit unhinged (which is fitting!).

Theme spotlight: New Developments. This arrangement of the Crisis Core theme plays toward the end of Ch. 7 of Crisis Core (6 in Reunion) when Sephiroth updates Zack on sightings of Genesis copies in Junon. The music in this cutscene fit the lighting really well, in my opinion.
A BEAUTIFUL performance of an arrangement of "Aerith's Theme" and "Judgment Day"! You should give the full video a listen.

Theme spotlight: No Honor Remains. This boss battle theme plays in Ch. 6 of Crisis Core (OG) during the Angeal Penance battle. It received a new arrangement for Crisis Core Reunion, though this may have been used for the Angeal Penance battle in Ever Crisis? (Probably.)
Theme spotlight: Anguish. This short theme from Crisis Core plays once in the game: during the cutscene where Genesis confronts Hojo in the Shinra building (Ch. 5 in the original, Ch. 4 in Crisis Core Reunion). It's a piano solo, which means it's right up my alley!
The discs for the Final Fantasy Resonance Original Soundtrack. Also, apparently lead composer Noriyasu Agematsu used done of his own money to fund the music because the budget ran out. That's dedication! (Also kind of bullshit, but that's another discussion entirely.)
Theme spotlight: Pipes and Steel (from LAST ORDER FFVII). This is an arrangement of "Frenzy of Steel" from Last Order. It plays in Mako Reactor 5 (Ch. 4) and the Mt. Nibel reactor (Ch. 9) and inside the room containing Jenova's body in the Shinra building (Ch. 5) in Crisis Core.
Good morning. I have a few more Crisis Core (OG) theme spotlights to get through, so I'll probably finish those out this week. I'm also running low on Remake and Rebirth themes. I'll easily have them finished before Revelation releases.
