Arsenal are by far & away the best in the country
Top Keeper, Defenders who love defending, Midfielders doing the hard yards, strong in both boxes & don’t take risks
4-3-3. Same blueprint as 20 years ago. Nothing’s changed, despite football’s obsession with ‘playing out’ & data

Fuck the Chelsea booing police. If I’ve paid 60 sheets for a ticket I’ll boo who I like. I’ll even boo the geezer next to me if I don’t like his face or he’s wearing shit trainers.

Imagine if you stood up at work and said “You know who has one hell of a beautiful ass? It’s Carol from accounting. Stand up Carol! Show them your ass!”
You’d be fired within the hour but the president gets a pass because everyone has accepted the fact that he’s a scumbag.

Lo de jugar con Rogers de falso nueve no funcionó en ningún momento y aún así Alonso optó por mantenerlo hasta el minuto 85 en ese rol. Lo del español hoy con sus decisiones es muy reprochable. No atinó una.

That was bloody brilliant. That was Chelsea. That’s what I want to see.

The oil price today is £96 a barrel as petrol approaches £2 per litre. In June 2008, it hit £109 a barrel yet petrol was £1.19 per litre 🤔

As we enter the first international break, our position remains clear. Significant change is still required at Chelsea Football Club.
While there were slight improvements this summer, we believe the sporting leadership are being given far too much grace for another window that has left the manager short in key areas; particularly defence and midfield.
The squad remains littered with players who, whether through age, experience or ability, are not currently at the level required. After five Premier League games, we now have the worst defence in the league and haven’t kept a clean sheet since January 17. Considering the vast expenditure on players, that is unacceptable and embarrassing.
This squad still lacks sufficient quality, experience, character and leadership, and appears unable to withstand a few injuries.
Selling Enzo Fernandez without signing a replacement, after weeks of briefings suggesting otherwise, only reinforced our concerns and again insulted fans’ intelligence.
We were told there would be “self reflection” after last season. However, Paul Winstanley, Laurence Stewart and Joe Shields remain in position. This follows failure to reach the Champions League in three seasons out of four.
Sporting directors at Chelsea should ultimately be judged on the team they build and the results it produces. Being able to trade players at high volumes, when many of those players should not have been at Chelsea in the first place, is not sufficient performance. After four years, we have seen enough.
We have no faith in the current sporting leadership and believe change is required before the next transfer window.
We urge supporters, whether at games or online, as well as those in the media and punditry, to direct the appropriate scrutiny towards the sporting directors, Behdad Eghbali and Clearlake Capital.
Xabi Alonso is a manager with a strong track record who we believe needs not only time, but sufficient support from the structure in place.
Years of poor decision making and incompetence at leadership level have created an untenable situation. That is where the accountability must sit.

Howard Webb continually references acknowledgement of - not even apologies for - officiating errors as though we should be grateful for the admission. No, it’s the bare minimum.
“We felt it was important that we acknowledged an error in this situation.” Did you? Why, thank you, that’s so kind.
The repetitive “we want to ensure that we are transparent and open” line is also nonsense.
Individuals get briefly taken off duty for mistakes, but there‘s no accountability when it comes to the organisation itself and Webb. Systemic problems with how officials are trained and the lack of alignment gets ignored, along with the long-reported culture of fear and intimidation.
The real acknowledgement should be clearly and obviously fixing these overarching issues.

Theyre just totally lacking the mentality of defenders who win titles. The lapses in concentration, the lack of drive to dominate challenges, the losing their heads under pressure. Things data cant quantify.

Sorry but Gusto continuing in there after midweek is an early red flag. I know it’s likely tied to injuries but he just can’t perform the role outside of right back and even then not at elite level. Baffling

No neutral wants to see an early red card...
But it does feel like the kind of incident that would have gone down very differently at Stamford Bridge.
Gabriel does miss the ball by a distance, and kick Emi Martinez in the head.
It's really not great.

“Stronger position financially”
Has it clicked yet? The sell to buy model in full swing. I’m sure £120m positive balance will look good to the investors Clearlake are obligated to.
Chelsea were only keen to spend a fraction of the Enzo money on a replacement. Despite the PR nonsense.
We’ll forever be a trading club whilst Clearlake are owning us. As fans we’ll grow attached to players. The club will spin their PR machine. They’ll eventually be ostracised and sold for a profit.
The cycle will continue.
Forever #BluecoOut.
Understand Chelsea headed into the transfer window with the target of ending in a stronger position on the pitch, in the dressing room, and financially. They believe they’ve achieved that but club sources insist there is more work to be done with the squad in future windows. #CFC

In the last two days, I understand Chelsea have tried for and enquired about AT LEAST six midfielders. If they end the window selling Enzo and not replacing him, then that will undo a lot of the good work they've done and will completely farcical.

Praying the owners don’t destroy a very good window at the last minute. Why are we allowing City to dictate with this “last-minute bid strategy”…. If we don’t have a replacement ready, it should be rejected, simple as that.
