My messages at the FIDE-panel today: 1. If you do not accept ‘art. 2 TEU values are law’, there is no common ground for a dialogue; 2. Under EU law there is no room for compromise on common, basic and well established rules on judicial independence.
It has been a such a pleasure and adventure to organise the XXIX FIDE Congress in #TheHague. Great to see and experience how this meeting of minds of European jurists all worked out. The future of FIDE is in reliable hands. We'll meet again @FIDE2023
