Our Dawn Chorus walk, that had to be postponed because of Storm Hannah, will now take place on Saturday 18 May at 05.30 am. Meet at Burmans Drive, foot of Wychall Park Grove. Led, as before, by the wonderful Jane Tavener

Sadly we have decided it is prudent to CANCEL tomorrow's walking event at Kings Norton Nature Reserve since Storm Hannah promises us high winds, high water levels and fairly frequent rain. What a pity!

Hi friends! Our first guided walk of the year "Spring Awakening", takes place on Saturday 30 March. Meet Jean and Amanda at 10.30 am at the junction of Meadow Hill Rd and Wychall Lane to see signs (and hear sounds) of spring all around us as we walk around the Reserve.

Don't forget to join the RSPB's Big Garden Bird Birdwatch this weekend (26-28 January). You can do it in your garden or on the Nature Reserve (and we saw three, yes three, Egrets at Wychall on Tuesday, which would be a good starter for you if they arrived again!)
