The same reason ISU fans seem so much more confident now than before the game. Iowa should always win this game, most of the time they do. ISU wants to win this game and the past 5 years they have and the fans get excited.
Now both teams will move on. We will see where they go.
Can both be right?! ISU expectations were low, thus no where to go but up. Iowa has high expectations, but similarity they have a lot of new(er) parts in their lineup.
Iowa always bets better as the year goes a long. ISU will have to keep improving to get where they want to be.
I think she is a cheap shot artist against everyone and should have been suspended a long time ago.
I am guessing a lot of people didn’t watch the Bulls until Jordan got there either….
Not comparing the two, but, makes sense.

What does moving well have to do with being a great running back? It’s production, showing up when it matters, leading a team. Emmitt caught the ball, blocked, scored tds, played hurt against tough defenses. Sanders often hurt his team with negative runs. He rarely when needed.
LeBron is the Emmitt Smith of the NBA - Great player, all-time longevity stats. On paper, he should be the greatest running back of all time. On paper.
But in reality, if you watched him and Barry Sanders, no one in their right mind is picking Emmitt over Barry. The way Barry moved, we have yet to see anyone else move like him 30 years later just like we have yet to see anyone move like Jordan.
Not sure how you can say they were the better “ team”. They have more skilled players, but being down by 8 at half, needing the refs to bail you out in the second half and being one possession away from losing after having a 17-0 run in the 2nd half. Better? lol

Iowa is good. They'll upset a couple of big time opponents in Big 10 play, but Iowa State was the better team. Iowa is in a really good spot under McCollum
Two tackles, you use the farthest ineligible person to decide tackle box. I think it was “ close enough “ but definitely close

Tackle box is about the end of the S… he was clearly almost to the start of the S. Clearly outside the box.
Like I said. Irrelevant!

They were bad before the B1G and still played in the conference championship their first season. Keep making Nebraska relevant. It’s fun to read!
Well at least you admit they were/are bad… that’s the first step!

lol you’ll never know because they were still beating up the big 8’s worst! Plus academic and behavioral standards may have been a little light back in those “ glory days”. Big ten standards may have “reduced “ some of those “talented “players 5” they had. Again just coincidence?

It didn’t matter what conference the 94, 95, and 97 Huskers teams were in. They were the best teams on grass. Nebraska is still very much relevant, whether you want to lie about it or not. They haven’t had success compared to standards in a long while. Not relevant = < 900 wins.
That is such terrible take. How “ bad” is the job at Iowa. Graduate kids, great fan base, quality facilities, rarely have issues with law or are in the paper for negative things, and they consistently win. He would be lucky to get that type of job.
He was great, but he also played in the worst Division in the NFL at the time. Packers, Vikqueens , Lions and Buccaneers were all terrible in the late 70’s to late 80’s.
Well when I lived in Kanawha in the early 90’s I had several people ( many that were my elders lol) tell me the story. Do I always respect my elders and believed them!

Joe, Joe, Joe….I heard that story long before the 80’s. It never happened. Another urban legend.
