AVAX's 2024 high was 65.39, and the 0.618 retracement of the run up to it sits at 30.30.
The low so far is 5.68. That is 24.62 below that line.
No prediction attached. That is just where the level sits and what price did when it got there.
At the 4 October 2026 weekly close, Bitcoin was 86,530: above its 50-week SMA of 77,769 but below its 100-week SMA of 89,775. 'Above the moving average' means little unless we name which one. Neither line guarantees the next move.

Metaplanet sold 10,000 bitcoin last quarter and bought 11,000 back, so the stack grew by a net 1,000 to 44,000 BTC.
It paid an average 86,246 on those buys. The cost basis across all 44,000 is 98,454. The quarter's trading was cheaper than the pile it joined.
In 52 BTC weekends from 10 October 2025 to 4 October 2026, the average return was +0.14%. Ignore direction and the average move was 1.62%. Gains and losses cancelled; the individual weekends were not motionless. What would make one worth trading?
BlackRock's Q3 2026 earnings report lists $7.9 billion of digital-asset net inflows. That measures money entering its products during the quarter; it is not a forecast of Bitcoin returns or total crypto-market inflows.
VanEck's 14 October withdrawal request says its proposed Lido staked Ether ETF never became effective and no shares were sold. That leaves this proposed brokerage route to stETH exposure unlaunched; the filing gives no further explanation.
South Korea's financial security review covers banks and crypto firms. In checklist returns, 130 of 555 firms reported gaps including missing patches and weak access controls. The FSC plans broader checks; reporting a weakness is only the first step.
ASIC is consulting on how crypto platforms hold client assets, settle trades and meet financial requirements. Feedback closes at 5pm AEDT on 27 November. The draft standards can still change; platform operators have a window to shape the details.
A banking consortium's licence is not a token launch. On 14 October, Qivalis announced Dutch EMI authorisation and said euro-token issuance still depended on MiCA requirements and a white paper. Distribution was planned through institutional partners.
From the August close to 29 September, the dollar index rose +2.0% and Bitcoin rose +6.5%. Both finished higher over the same dated window.
The inverse relationship often cited between them is a tendency over longer windows, not a rule that holds month by month.
Bitcoin's nine completed Octobers on Binance ranged from -3.9% to +47.6%, measured from monthly open to close. Seven were positive. That 2017 to 2025 sample describes the past; it does not give the next October a 7-in-9 chance of rising.

Headlines about one bad week age fast. What does not is where the week actually closed, and bitcoin's last three closes each came in lower than the one before. Three weeks is a trend forming, not a crash.

16 Sep to 2 Oct 2026 daily closes: 47 of 58 large Binance USDT alt markets finished above bitcoin. Bitcoin gained 10.9%; the median alt gained 33.4%.
Universe: top 60 pairs by 24h volume on 3 Oct, stablecoins and wrapped receipts excluded.
What happens if bitcoin breaks 80,000 is the wrong question. It already lived there. 218 of the last 400 daily closes were below 80k, the last of them on 17 September, then 38 closes at or above.
The 120 percent is real. So is being 36 percent below your own two year high while you wait for it to show up.

#Bitcoin's return is annualized 120% since 2011.
Gold's return since 2011, even though it has seen a massive surge last year: 6%.
That's why you'll bet big on #Bitcoin when it's undervalued against Gold.
That's why now is the time to be accumulating more Bitcoin, and rotate that later towards Gold, in 1-2 years, when Gold is done with its correction.
Friday's bitcoin option expiry is the biggest on the board right now: 135,773 BTC, about 10.9 billion dollars, settling in one session. The most crowded strike sits at 95,000 while spot is near 80,500. Clusters like that are where hedging gets busy, not a promise.

BREAKING: Last week, global hedge funds have suffered one of their broadest declines since the Covid pandemic, per Goldman Sachs.
The Solana Foundation's 7 October announcement puts USDC transfers inside Samsung Wallet from late October, across 82 million US Galaxy devices. That is potential reach, not 82 million active users. Actual transfer use will be the next thing to measure.
