As UBA Uganda, we came together for a memorable Town Hall that celebrated an inspiring leadership transition while reinforcing our shared commitment to the future of our Bank. Convened by our Incoming Chairperson, Mrs. Rita Mitala Balaka, the Town Hall provided an opportunity for her to meet and engage with UBA staff, share her vision of building the most trusted African bank in Uganda, and outline her commitment to our people, customers, governance, innovation, and sustainable growth. The event also paid tribute to the remarkable leadership of our Outgoing Chairman, Mr. Ssebagala Mustapha Kigozi, whose stewardship, dedication, and invaluable contributions have helped position UBA Uganda for continued success. In his farewell remarks, he thanked the Board, Management, and staff for their unwavering support and encouraged everyone to rally behind the new Chairperson as the Bank embarks on its next chapter. Joining the occasion were our Managing Director, Mr. Kisambira Kenneth, Executive Director, Mrs. Chinwe Chinedu-Chika, members of the Board, Executive Management and members of staff.
