I keep coming back to the timing, and it does not sit right with me. Musk was just named co-lead of a Pentagon study on future warfare. A few days later his team is in Delhi saying Starlink is ready for India and the ground stations are already built. That order is what got me looking again. Starlink has been trying to enter India since around 2021. They got the telecom licence in June 2025 and the space approval in July 2025, but security clearance and the foreign investment nod are still pending. Even so, a SpaceX executive told an industry event they have already put up 20 gateway sites, Indian user data would stay in India, and they are waiting only for the government to finish its work. Then Musk posts that some oligarchs are blocking him and calls it a crime against the people of India. The ministry says Starlink, OneWeb and Jio Satellite are all at roughly the same stage. So why the sudden public push right after the Pentagon role? The public story is rural internet. What is already on the ground is a foreign satellite network with stations inside the country, before the security file is closed, run by a man who now sits in American war planning. Ukraine is the part I cannot ignore. Starlink basically became the communications line for the Ukrainian military. Musk has decided where it works and where it does not. He refused coverage for a strike toward Crimea. That is not a normal internet company. One private person had a say in what a country at war could even attempt. People bring up Bangladesh too. In 2024 the government was thrown out after protests, and Starlink was in the picture around that period. I am not saying a satellite dish caused the protests. What I am saying is that once a foreign network is overhead and not fully under local control, someone outside has a channel that does not depend on the local phone companies. That matters when a country is already unstable. The same point gets made about a few other places. On India, it feels like the attempt never really stopped. Delays, public posts from Musk, equipment built before the final yes, and a steady run of street trouble, farm protests, communal incidents and online campaigns. None of it has to be one big order. It only needs a network that stays up if local systems are under stress, run by someone who has shown in Ukraine that he will use the off switch. That is the part I cannot shake. India is being asked to approve a system whose owner answers to no Indian ministry, has already steered a war through connectivity decisions, and is now tied to Pentagon planning, while the ground stations are in place before security clearance is done. The oligarch posts look like pressure. The gateways look like a footprint. Ukraine and Bangladesh are what people should question, when they say this is not only about selling internet.
A post from 2022. More relevant today. X is not what it seems. And it along with Starlink under Elon and Trump admin will play a big role in India's political and geopolitical issues going forward. As long as India doesn't align with them.

🪔 Wishing everyone in India a very happy Diwali. May India be victorious over the foreign forces trying to destabilize, divide, and destroy the country. And return to its former glory like Sri Ram won a difficult battle over Ravan and returned home glorious. 🇮🇳 Jai Bharath.

I’m a Muslim, yet I believe Bakrid is hundred times better than Diwali, at least people don’t harm animals in those festivals. One guy threw a fire cracker at my dog last night.

🇺🇸 HOLY SHIT! This pilot wanted GTA 6 to have a special advertisement on FlightRadar Benjamin McDaniel, known as "The Pilot Picasso," flew his plane and TRACED a full mural of the game over Arkansas. He’s done this before with the Mona Lisa, The Scream, and Spider-Man. Now he needed to do the same for the game before the launch on November 19. Insane! Source: Flightradar24 / Writer: Lucas

INDIA IS THE ONLY MAJOR MARKET IN ASIA THAT'S GREEN TODAY. Japan crashed as much as 7% Korea 8.8% Taiwan 9% And India's Nifty just hit a 3-month high and is on track for its best week since 2021. In the last 2 weeks: • India: +10% • Taiwan: -13.8% • Korea: -8.8% • Japan: -8.4% Looks like India is the only major anti-AI trade left globally, as it has almost zero exposure to AI.

We live in a no trust society
So Deepinder Goyal posted about the Blinkit ambulance service, which was running free of cost. People started using it for routine check-ups. Now he has said that they'll charge ₹2,500 for such cases and ₹0 for genuine emergency cases. People will always exploit good services in India and make everyone suffer. Sometimes, it feels like we're becoming a low-trust society.

If US can't take on a non nuclear nation then how can it ever think of waging a war with Russia.

You built a web app. Your users want it on their phone. You don't need the App Store for that. Paste this into Claude Code: "Turn this web app into an installable phone app (PWA). • Add the manifest, icons in every size and a splash screen • Make it open full screen like a native app, with no browser bar • Cache it so the main screens still load offline • Add an 'Install app' button that appears on iPhone and Android • Then test it with Lighthouse and fix anything that fails" Users tap "Add to Home Screen" and it sits next to their other apps. No review, no fees.

I don’t know why, but this announcement makes me genuinely happy. The proposed Agniveer reforms address one of the biggest concerns surrounding the scheme: career uncertainty. An additional two years of service, a pathway to permanent enrolment, better salaries and an enhanced Seva Nidhi. Most importantly, it signals that feedback from the ground is being heard and the system is willing to evolve. Thank you CDS & Team

Indians seriously don’t understand the concept of personal space and basic etiquette 👇 • Keep your phone’s ringtone volume low. People can hear it from another city. • Stop standing six inches behind people in queues. The queue won’t move faster. • Don’t speak loudly on the phone in public spaces. People don’t need to hear your conversation from 200 metres away. • At traffic lights, stop squeezing into every small gap. You won’t get there any faster. • Don’t honk in traffic. Honking won’t make the traffic move faster. • If someone rejects your call, calling again after 10 seconds won't suddenly make them free. • Don’t watch reels or videos on speaker in public. Public space is shared space, behave accordingly. • Ring the doorbell once and wait. Pressing it 10 times won’t make someone reach the door faster. • Being able to reach someone doesn’t mean they are available to you 24/7. Last - Don’t ask someone how much they earn, how much their house costs or why they aren’t married within 5 minutes of meeting them. Please, basic civic sense is really not that complicated.

More to come. We will not stop till every inch of our land is reclaimed.
Hundreds of homes have been bulldozed in the Dhubri district of Assam state in northeastern India as part of a government campaign to evict families it says do not legally live there. Local media says most of the 4,000 people displaced were Bengali-speaking Muslims.

Not a single positive comments or feedback. WoW! One of the biggest builder in India.
12 site visits in a day, each offering a reminder of what building at scale truly means. Real estate is not just about land, square footage or skylines. It is about employment, livelihoods, economic activity and the growth of the cities we build in. With a 20,000-strong workforce, our impact extends far beyond the site and offices- with the potential to touch the livelihood of approximately 80,000 family members. At M3M, our responsibility extends beyond developing projects. It is about contributing to city's evolution and, in our own way, to India’s growth. The true scale of development lies not just in what we build, but in the lives and livelihoods it helps move forward.

Emma was 4. Charlie was 2. They were on their way to the Bahamas with their mom and dad when their plane fell out of the sky over Florida. The nine people killed in Sunday’s Learjet crash in Palm Beach County have now been identified. Among them was an entire family: Adam Robinson, 45, Helen Sharp, 40, and their two little ones. Also lost were Rachael Reed, Charmi Fehr, Anita Maria Apellido Cetina, Jeff Gregory, 55, and Nathalia Gadelha Filgueiras, the 20-year-old pilot who dreamed of flying for a living. The crew had reported ice and turbulence before the jet went into its final plunge, and investigators are now looking at evidence it may have started breaking apart before it hit the ground. Nine names. Nine lives. One of them hadn’t even learned to read yet. Please keep every one of these families in your prayers tonight. 🙏🏾 Should pilots be allowed to fly through storms with known icing, or should those flights be grounded?
