It blows my mind that baseball is my job sometimes? Like what? 😂 This is literally a kids game. “You do what and people pay you to do it?” 😂 Take a step back for a second. How crazy is it that people have a passion for something like you. I literally think about hitting everyday. I explore everyday. I try new things everyday. I discover a new angle everyday. I see something I didn’t see the day before. I see a new shape, a new view of anatomy. A rough picture that you’re sanding everyday. If you're actually good at this, you know you still suck—just a little less than other people that suck at it 😂 Some days I feel like the worst hitting coach on the planet, do I even actually know anything or have I just convinced myself that I know some stuff 😂 And then other days the stars align and you get a perspective for how much you’ve grown and how capable you are of pouring in to others. You see your players growing and learning. You see them growing their relationships with God and your heart is just so full. Coaching is such a gift and a blessing if you keep perspective. We get to give everyday. We get to pour everyday. Make sure you get home and get filled back up again. Remember to spend time with the source of all of it. Remember to lay it all down with God. What a gift we have to coach. I used to pay to coach. Like literally spending more on the team than I was being paid 😂 and I know coaches that have done even more than me, shoot. But anyway, just some gratitude on your timeline. Hope you’re livin well. Love yall
