Are we going into another Christmas with these roads? This is just wicked to us as taxpayers. Is our budget for roads zero dollars and zero cents???

The roads are terrible. The roads are so terrible. If it’s not a portal from kgn to japan it’s unruly civilian drivers (who are as bad as the taxis now tbh) and then at night you can’t even see the roads with how the brights are glaring and blinding. I’m tired grandpa

That requires: 1. Knowing left from right 2. Being able to read 3. Caring about the fact that the road has rules Road full a people weh lack 1, 2 or all 3.

Look at the highway to st Thomas. The problem persists with whosoever gets the work. Until there is proper supervision and legitimate testing and comparative testing conducted these problems will continue.
Local contractors cyaa bawl when Missa Chin and Missa Lee get the work.. The quality has been so terrible and we the Jamaican ppl who are one of most taxed in the world deserve better roads.

An overweight truck should not cause the roadway to collapse like this 👍
Let's talk about it. Is it that the roads aren't properly built or, hear me out, that the truck is overweight and may exceed its Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR)? Or could it be both?

Almost every road that was recently fixed is now returning to it's dilapidated days. Dropped in a crater on Balmoral Ave and nearly landed in a new galaxy. Molynes road is a nightmare, parts of the Boulevard, Sir Glasspole highway a whole mess. God help us!🤕😔

Citizens in a functioning democracy are supposed to provide feedback and constructive criticism. They are supposed to expect transparency and accountability. If you are paid by taxpayers then you work FOR the taxpayers which is why these people are called Public Servants. However, we have seen far too many countries where these people are Self-serving and lash out at those who ask questions or make suggestions. They enrich themselves and their friends through politics. My generation and the generation mine after will not tolerate what generations before us tolerated. We are fed up. Let’s be part of the change rather than just complain on social media. Show up and vote.

One would think having been faced with such a disaster as a category 5 hurricane the government would put measures in place to prevent or at least minimize the effect another would have. It’s been over a year and with another hurricane today we would be in the same position.
George reacts to Beenie Man's comments on the government's handling of Hurricane Melissa relief fund. #CHOL

It’s a shame how you guys would rather be unwavering green or orange rangers than call a spade a spade. We still have brothers and sisters in the west with tarp over their heads.

Have you seen the state of the country? NOTHING IS GOING ON YOU BIG NOSE FUCK
We cannot afford to allow false narratives about the Government’s handling of hurricane relief funds to go unchallenged, particularly when these claims are made on international platforms. Such statements have consequences beyond our politics. They can damage Jamaica’s reputation, undermine confidence in our institutions and jeopardise the international support we may need when the next disaster strikes. The world has changed, and international assistance increasingly depends on confidence in the strength, integrity and accountability of our systems. I also recognise that these narratives are rooted in a long-standing perception that “nothing is going on” and that government cannot deliver. For too long, this thinking has shaped how Jamaicans engage with government, creating a culture of distrust and short-term expectations that makes it difficult to pursue the long-term policies necessary for meaningful national transformation. Through programmes such as the New Social Housing Programme, we are working to change that perception by demonstrating that government can deliver meaningful, lasting improvements in people’s lives. But we must also acknowledge that delivery takes too long, and we have a responsibility to improve efficiency, strengthen accountability and consistently show Jamaicans the progress being made. We must change the way we think about government, what we expect of it and what it can achieve. That requires transparency, results and a willingness to challenge deeply entrenched beliefs. The only way we are going to change is if we change our thinking and change our outlook.
