Childhood friends Polin go to an amusement park but Pen is frustrated because she’s not tall enough to ride anything. Colin promises her that when she grows up he’ll take her on all the rides she wants. Years later, Pen comes to collect on the promise.

I really want a Polin meeting at the supermarket fic, like seeing each other often on the same aisle. Is it the cheeses both fixing for separate dinner dates and sharing tips? Is it the pet food when one is a seasoned pet owner and the other found a stray?

Colin doesn’t realize he’s been kind of a shitty friend to Penelope and makes his NYE resolution to be a better friend. Once he sees more of her, he falls in love.
