A planned Falklands Task Force Museum in Glasgow is under threat as the Pakistan Navy have now cancelled to donation of this sole surviving, large Falklands Task Force veteran, HMS Ambuscade, sister ship to Ardent & Antelope lost in 1982. UK Govt requested to help!
Replying to @GBNEWS
Meanwhile in the UK, the group trying to create a Falklands Museum with the Pakistan donated, now cancelled deal, to transfer the sister ship of Ardent & Antelope, are still awaiting a UK Govt response, to their request, to call Prime Minister Shariff to seek his support!

Perhaps Rear Admiral Khyber Zaman might honor the agreement to transfer the former PNS Tariq to Clyde Naval Heritage, creating a joint cuktural heritage site in the UK.
This would also give the UK its first Falklands War naval museum, please, honor those that died!
With just over four weeks to go until remembrance Sunday, it is tragic to watch our political leaders and that of Pakistan, remain silent, in response to our request for their intervention with Prime Minister Shariff, to secure the future of HMS Ambuscade. Who will remember them?

Politics is not working to support recognising the Veterans of the 1982 Falklands Task Force, with a fitting museum to that conflict. As Argentina starts to rattle sabres, on behalf of these veterans I ask you to respond and support our appeal to Prime Minister Shariff!
An appeal for the support of the Prime Ministers of the UK & Pakistan has been delivered, hoping that common sense recognises the dangers to shipping in the Gulf region which has severely restricted transit.
PNS Tariq/HMS Ambuscade! lnkd.in/p/e2XeYJk8
We are delighted to be invited to speak at the upcoming 'MAST' conferance event in Glasgow.
HMS Ambuscade has been donated by the Pakistan Navy, we only have 24 days to save her!
We need an ocean going tug!
This is the likely fate of HMS Ambuscade, unless we can save her and create a fitting Falklands Task Force Museum. This was her sister ship HMS Active, sunk in Pakistan.

Yet no Government officials will address our Falklands Museum proposal since taking office?
The Scotsman article carries the news of the pressure that wars in the Gulf are bringing to other areas.

Can we talk about Pakistans Donation of PNS Tariq/HMS AMBUSCADE, to become one of many new shipbuilding and Naval Heritage sites on the Clyde, creating jobs and boosting the tourism sector?
The previous Conservative Government were very cooperative?
We are calling on serving servicemen and women, join our mission and create a Falklands Memorial for those who did not return. This will be a lasting tribute to all that served, and those from HMS Ardent, Antelope, Coventry, Sheffield, Atlantic Conveyor, Sir Galahad, Foxtrot 4.
Clyde Naval Heritage are pleased to confirm, that we have commissioned Fareham Marine Offshore Consultants, to go to Karachi and carry out a specific ship survey, to assess the condition of HMS Ambuscade.
Our appreciation goes to Derek Ross and Dave Buoy's for their support.

The return of HMS Ambuscade will once again respect that heritage and those that serve today. Follow the journey as she makes her way back from Pakistan, to the Clyde, to become a Falklands Memorial ship.

The biggest recruitment opportunity for the Royal Navy in decades, with the return to the UK of HMS Ambuscade, Falklands survivor. Global media interest is expected over her 6000 mile journey from Pakistan.

While we struggle to get HMS Ambuscade home from Karachi.
The Royal Navy do sterling work, so deserve a new museum on the Clyde to celebrate the great ships amd submarines built there over the last 150 years. HMS Ambuscade (Falklands survivor) is offered by Pakistan, to be such a museum. The defence sector should support this venture!
