Keep putting in the work and it will pay off!! You have dominated this weekend and we are so proud of your attitude and resilience since receiving the news. Bee a pleasure to coach you this weekend.
Yesterday I received some devastating news. Unfortunately, my name wasn’t added to Fury’s roster in time, so I won’t be able to compete in the Alliance National Championship.
I’ve trained five hours a day since Colorado preparing for this tournament. I haven’t felt this good on the mound or at the plate in a long time, which makes this especially heartbreaking. Missing the biggest recruiting tournament of the year is tough to accept.
But I know God never gives me more than I can handle, and I trust that He is in control, even when I don’t understand the plan. This setback doesn’t define me, and it certainly won’t stop me.
I was able to pick up this weekend and compete in the 18U PGF Super 7. Over three games, I pitched 11 innings, recorded 23 strikeouts, and was reminded that all the hard work is paying off.
This chapter isn’t the one I wanted, but my story isn’t over. I’ll keep working, keep believing, and keep proving that my best softball is still ahead of me. The dream hasn’t changed, it just took an unexpected detour.
Here are some of my strikeouts this weekend.

Game 2 did not go the way we wanted… but plenty of opportunities left this weekend to get it back on the right track. We learn, make adjustments and get better with every game we play. Kyanna Gardner balled out in this one earning player of the game. Tomorrow 8am field 4 at ISP!

Game 1 ends in a 3-3 tie!! Hard fought game that could have gone either way. Leyla Miller took no time to get the summer started. On to game 2 at 3:00 on Diamond 4 at ISP!!
