Dog’s hearing is quite incredible! For some sounds, a dog's hearing comes in at about the same as humans. Other sounds (particularly higher pitched noises) come in much clearer than for people. Don’t let them get away with ignoring you - they hear great!
We teach our students to advocate for your dog! Not all dogs should be pet and not all times are appropriate to have your dog pet. We all want our dogs to understand how to hold commands and how to be confident in various situations.
