The biggest Nvidia customer just hedged: * Oracle expands Vera Rubin to multi-gigawatt scale * Google TPUs offered on Oracle cloud for the first time * Cerebras and SambaNova inference chips coming too * Oracle’s own Acceleron chips replace some Nvidia networking * Capex target still about $90–95B My take: Training is Nvidia’s. Inference is up for grabs, and buyers know it. The multi-vendor shelf is the new moat for clouds. If you rent compute, are you locked to one chip, or can you move workloads?

Speaking for Exascale Labs, I think Elon is right that some neoclouds won't survive tighter financing. But I wouldn't write off the whole group. I'd look at who's paying for the compute and whether the business can cover its power bills and debt if a big customer leaves.
Replying to @chamath
Pretty much. As of the past few weeks, debt markets have almost entirely shut off access to money for any company that doesn’t have substantial revenue independent of AI data centers. SpaceX closed $40B of debt for GPUs, but we’re investment grade and have Starlink & launch revenue. That means the 200+ neoclouds are going to see guppy-level death and consolidation. Some will make it through, but not many.

The humanoid market’s first real volume is coming: *Agile Robots: 1,000–2,000 compact humanoids next year *Production starts end of 2026, ships early 2027 *Runs Nvidia Isaac GR00T on Jetson Thor *Target buyers: universities and corporate labs *Meanwhile ANYmal X is inspecting oil and gas sites for Equinor My take: Labs buy hardware to build the software that makes factories viable. That’s how this works. It’s slower than the demos, but at least it's real #Robotics #Humanoids

That’s a pretty big disagreement to build a career around. Jeff Bezos thinks AI is more likely to help save us than destroy us. Stephen Hawking warned it could become the worst thing to happen to humanity. I pulled together 15 predictions from 2016 through 2026, with the names, dates, and timelines attached. Same technology. Very different futures. Which prediction do you buy? And which one do you think will age terribly? 👇 The infographic puts them side by side.

Whoa... OpenAI says it’s building a humanoid robot. Demo targeted for 2027. I assumed the LLMs would stay in the cloud. Apparently, the brain wants a body, and Tesla just got some real competition (albeit well behind). #Robotics #OpenAI

Promise Robotics signed a multi-year deal with D.R. Horton for 1,250+ US homes, built in a factory. We’re all watching the robot boxing and backflips, but the money robots are all bolted to a floor. #Robotics #PhysicalAI

Amazon just signed a 20-year deal for 190MW from Calvert Cliffs nuclear. They are not building a new reactor. It's an existing one. Most are still talking about SMRs. The hyperscalers are quietly buying the plants with power built in. You should be buying the the old Bitcoin mining farms in droves. You'll make a killing. #AIInfrastructure #Nuclear

Anthropic says robots can technically do 74% of US physical tasks. But... they're cost competitive on 0.3%. Ouch. We'll need to see steep price reduction before the robots take over. #Robotics #AI

Most factory robots work inside a cage, a fenced-off cell that keeps them away from people. Agility is claiming its new Digit 5 humanoid doesn't need one. Hmmm.. If that holds up, I care more about it than any backflip video. I’ll believe it though when the insurance companies sign off on it. #Robotics #Humanoids

The AI leadership chart makes a lot more sense when you add the power cord. → Sam Altman wants to save humanity. Humanity hasn’t seen the subscription options yet. → Elon Musk consulted the board. The mirror said go for it. → Mark Zuckerberg saw everyone selling thrones and decided free chairs would be hilarious. → Satya Nadella supports your right to rule. Enterprise license required. Billed annually. → Jensen Huang wishes every competitor tremendous success. They all have his payment details. → PG&E appreciates your vision for superintelligence. Your connection request is still in the queue. Five kings. But a company owns the most power I work in AI infrastructure. You can probably guess which panel I’d put my money on.

Our CEO Dr. Hoansoo Lee told New Project Media that rack power is up about 60x, from roughly 10 kW to what Vera Rubin needs. Most existing data centers top out near 140 kW a rack. Vera Rubin Ultra can ask for 600. The chips will ship on time, but he’s a lot less sure about the buildings. Read more: linkedin.com/posts/amanda-ja…

Anthropic just had 950 AI agents spend 21 hours scanning 200,000 enzymes. They found a CRISPR-like system that scientists missed entirely. IN 5 years, imagine what we'll find and cure. #AI #Anthropic
