Welcome to **@FantasyInvRealm** — Fantasy Investment Realm (FIR)!
This isn’t fantasy football with fake points.
It’s **real-money investing** with real consequences, real wins, and real lessons.
I’m Russ — regular guy sharing my actual trades, chart patterns, macro takes, and 40,000-foot views. No hype. No financial advice. Just skin in the game.
💵 I’m a bit over 20% cash at the moment. Happy about that, of course. I’d rather be in a bull market though!

Some surprising winners today. Notice my little friend $VIXY in the winner column? That’s my hedge against drops like today. High fees so don’t stay in it long. The faster it ramps up, the more I buy. NFA
10/22/26 Gap Check
• S&P 500 and Nasdaq opened lower after Wednesday’s gains (Nasdaq futures ~-1.6%); tech under early pressure as Meta/Tesla earnings and AI spending doubts resurface amid an oil spike. • 10-year yield near 5.05-5.07% (easing); dollar little changed. • Tech/semis/AI and memory/storage leading the decline; energy holding up with oil elevated on Middle East risks.
Portfolio gaps ≥1%:
$TSLA −3.2% — Q3 beat but capex cut to ~$20B and softer growth outlook.
$SNDK −4.3% — memory/storage giveback after Wednesday bounce + AI spending and oil/rates pressure.
$MU −3.6% — same memory/AI concerns.
$AMD −4.3% — chip sector retreat.
$INTC −5.0% — same.
$CRDO −5.0% — high-speed AI interconnect sympathy with tech.
$VICR −6.3% — AI/power-component pressure.
$BE −5.7% — industrial/energy-related softness.
$NVDA −2.4% — AI chip circular-financing worries.
$SPCX −2.4% — partial giveback after Wednesday’s big move.

One winner! More stocks are passing. I’m rethinking the last gate criteria to ensure the “best” possible outcome. Too long?
What’s encouraging to me right here is the fact that more stocks are passing through the gates. Although it shows none to act on now, they are piling up and ready to push through.
10/21/26 Gap Check

What a comeback! I know many of you called it based on your preferred signals. Well done!
Now we settle in to see if the AI and space stories can carry on! Based on the size of gainers vs losers, all good.
Not for everyone!

📉💎 Wednesday 52 Week Low Report: Good Companies at a Low Price.
Watchlist candidates this week:
• $AAON — margin pressure from new capacity ramp and product mix. Still attractive because of record backlog and secular data center cooling demand.
• $LII — weak residential HVAC volumes and lowered full-year guidance. Still attractive because of strong commercial segment growth and a durable long-term replacement cycle.
• $BLDR — housing slowdown, high mortgage rates, and an earnings miss. Still attractive because of solid cash generation and scale that supports weathering the cycle.
These are not cheap-for-a-reason value traps in my view. Temporary setbacks + quality businesses = potential opportunities. NFA
