Sam Adams may be getting acquired by Suntory(Jim Beam, Maker’s Mark) very shortly but at least they are going out as champs…. This just dropped and it’s excellent.

NEW: Casas, Ortiz, & Mo all have cast doubt that Ted really hit the red seat 502 feet away. We used new tech to answer an old question, and the answer is .. it's not 502 feet. It's more like 530. And it's real -- but it probably can't be repeated. --> mlb.com/redsox/news/ted-will…

You wouldn’t expect 50 tobacco companies to solve lung cancer by producing cigarettes more efficiently. 50 fossil fuel companies promising to produce oil and gas more efficiently won’t help solve the #climate crisis. on.ft.com/3uHG7ps

Hurricane winds extend 30 miles from the eye. 1st hurricane gusts arriving on the coast south of #Acapulco. Power outages starting. So many people will spend a terrifying night praying just to see daylight again. Massive loss of life and property expected to begin shortly. 😞 🙏

Just in case anyone is wondering about how a warmer planet is impacting sea level... Yes sea level is rising quickly. This was just a full moon and a high tide - no tropical storm or hurricane involved.
High tide peaked at 10 ft MLLW at Fort Pulaski last evening. This is the 25th tide of 10 ft MLLW or higher on record, and 18 of these 25 (72%) have occurred since 2015. Fort Pulaski tide records date back to 1935. #gawx #savwx

These corals are actively dying due to the record shattering water temperatures. I said my goodbyes to this reef and will continue to document as much as I can in the coming weeks. Unfortunately we are braced for a continual nightmare.

“What if I'm caught in a rip current?” Stay calm and relax. Float to conserve energy. Rip currents don't pull you under. Don't swim against the current. You may be able to escape by swimming out of the current in a direction following the shoreline, or toward breaking waves, then at an angle toward the beach. If you feel you will be unable to reach shore, draw attention to yourself. Call and wave for assistance. weather.gov/safety/ripcurren…
