A deeper analysis on the CodyBrownBets account reveals he exclusively did promotions for Fanduel in 2026 [I couldn’t find a single mention of another sportsbook in 2026.]
HOWEVER, prior to 2026, he pushed people toward BetMGM (as late as Dec. 2024), Fanatics (mid 2025), bet365 (as of late 2024), and Caesars (late 2024) with specific affiliate links on posts with tons of engagement so there’s no doubt that this account was HIGHLY profitable and making affiliate $ from sportsbooks.
But who was earning this money if CodyBrownBets isn’t a real person, as alleged by many? Who is the actual human FanDuel negotiated this highly valuable exclusivity with? How much money did FanDuel pay for this account which appears to be run by a person named “Cody Brown.”
As affiliate dollars started drying up nationwide, did FanDuel see more value in this account to push people toward bets that benefit its sportsbook (parlays)? If so, this would be a highly unethical form of COVERT SOCIAL ENGINEERING.
Many unanswered questions - FanDuel and the other books need to step to the mic and share what they know. Rob Gronkowksi too. It’s the least they can do at this point when they’re being accused of such deep deception. IMO this is way worse than the Fanduel Bryce Harper/VIP scandal and it’s not close.

My official apology to @JalenHurts @Eagles and the entire fanbase. My comments were wrong. No excuse.
I was sitting at work the other day thinking about how much worse this situation would be if I had a spouse and kids depending on me. Imagine absolutely hating your job, waking up miserable every morning, but knowing you can't just quit because your family depends on your paycheck AND your health insurance. At that point, how much freedom do you really have? And it's crazy how much of your life can hinge on keeping one employer happy. You make a mistake, get laid off, piss off the wrong person, whatever, suddenly you can lose your income and potentially your family's health insurance at the same time. Then everyone says, "Just find another job," as if getting another decent job is something you can instantly do, especially in a terrible job market. the freedom. Obviously you technically have to quit. Nobody is physically forcing you to show up. But when quitting means potentially losing your ability to feed your family, or afford healthcare, that freedom starts feeling pretty theoretical. It genuinely feels like a prison sometimes. The older I get, the more insane this system seems to me. And there seems to be no way to escape.
