Went to an early screening of Clayface tonight. Bloody, disgusting, in all the best ways. Body horror done for fun, not for shock value. I’m not even squeamish and there were moments that made me wince. Tom, who plays Clayface, was incredible, and a genuinely great guy to meet too. Seeing a character who’s basically only existed in animation brought to life on a real human body is wild. The way he transforms, the way his body falls apart, it hits so much harder live action than it ever could animated. It would lose all that grotesque feeling if it were drawn. Loved the kills, loved the origin. A pretty boy actor starting in a penthouse and ending up in the sewers, and they nailed every step of that fall. For a character nobody calls their favorite, James Gunn betting on a full Clayface movie was a bold call, and it paid off. The last time we saw this version was in Creature Commandos, and knowing the live action one is the same guy before he joins that team is such a cool thread. There’s a romantic angle that actually works, solid jump scares, and an underground crime story that keeps things moving. Only thing keeping it from five stars, I wanted way more of his full final form and those iconic moves, like turning his foot into a giant stomp. They tease it, but I wanted to see it. The amount of times I’ve walked in day of and asked for a new game just to be told “we don’t have any in stock” or “you have to pre-order if you want a copy” is outrageous for a GAME STORE. #StreetFighter early screening event.

Just got out of an early screening of Street Fighter! It is goofy as hell, does not take itself seriously, and delivers exactly what it promised. Awesome fights and good laughs. Highlights: • Animation transitions and art style were STUNNING. I need a full animated film in that style. • Guile, Ryu, Ken, Chun Li, and surprisingly Dan stole the show. • Roman Reigns as Akuma was pure chilling aura. Wanted even more of him! • A bit too many dick or sus jokes, but they did not drag. • Wish Volkanovski got used a bit more (UFC fan in me talking). • Blanka was funky as hell smelling his armpits constantly lol hated that part. Loaded with easter eggs for fans. If you come for action and fun, you will not be disappointed. STAY AFTER THE CREDITS! 3.8/5 #StreetFighterMovie

Legends of Horror at Casa Loma was incredible! So many different sets, props, animatronics, and actors. There’s so much I didn’t record because I was soaking in the moment. If you’re in Toronto, definitely go check it out! It’s huge!

Just ate sushi off a tatted woman on a table. What is my life lol. First place in round one out of 40+ contestants, and I made it all the way to the top 10 finale without getting eliminated. Thank you to everyone who voted and supported me through this competition. Congratulations to Andrew on winning the men’s competition, and congrats to the women’s winner too. The finale was a blast, something I’ve never experienced before. Thank you to the hosts for putting on such great events. I had an amazing time, made some incredible new friends and connections, and I’m already looking forward to what’s next.
