One problem with blockchain applications is that most of the information we use every day lives outside the blockchain.
Think about your Binance trading history, GitHub activity, Steam account or even your purchase history on Amazon.
These platforms already have information about you, but how can a Web3 application confirm that the information is real without asking you to expose everything?
This is where @primus_labs comes in.
Primus provides developers with tools that allow applications to verify information from websites and online services using zkTLS.
For example, imagine a DeFi platform wants to give users better borrowing terms based on their trading history.
Instead of asking users to upload screenshots or simply trust whatever they claim, the platform could use Primus to verify relevant information from an authentic source.
The user can prove that certain information is correct without handing over their entire account history.
What's interesting is that Primus also provides developers with SDKs and data templates, making it easier to connect these verification features to their own applications.
This means developers don't have to build the entire verification system from scratch.
I think this is an important part of making Web3 more useful.
We already have valuable information across different websites and platforms.
The challenge is finding a way to use that information on-chain without sacrificing privacy.

i love how intentional @MEXC is about user security.
beyond implementing multiple layers of security, including 2fa, they're also finding fun and interactive ways to educate users about the different tricks scammers use and what to look out for.
from knowing that no mexc staff member will ever ask you to share your security codes, to triple-checking your emails, verifying addresses, spotting suspicious links and identifying loopholes scammers might exploit, there's quite a lot to learn.
one thing that particularly stood out to me is the reminder to treat everything ai reads as untrusted until verified.
security isn't just about having protective measures in place; it's also about making sure users know how to protect themselves.
i genuinely enjoyed this one and learned a few new things along the way.
