We're so thankful for the incredible response to Silver Pines, both critically and from players! In case you missed it, here's what press outlets had to say about our new survival horror metroidvania.

While only on Nintendo hardware no less.
Trying to Lil bro Zelda is certainly a choice. Especially while Cod is starting to falter.
Not even a big Zelda fan and even I know its a juggernaut.
"No offense to Zelda" but Grand Theft Auto 6 and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 are "the two biggest games of the year", Activision's chief marketing officer says.

No fucking way this studio gets decimated and then Frank comes out here and goes
"Hey Activision, pro tip #1: make a classic Halo game"
Like I just cant you guys.
Halo's former franchise creative director, Frank O'Connor, has weighed in on the franchise's future at Activision, suggesting three viable paths forward. bit.ly/4AGHyBW
They must've thought I was kidding or something.
Another unfortunate fact about Halo Studios leadership. I was told they blacklisted HiddenXperia for being critical of the studio and “payed attention closely to content by members of their Sentinel community group before and after Campaign Evolved launched and they pretty much blocked and blacklisted the majority of creators from future partnerships who weren't a “Yes sir" kind of guy or possitive with the game.” #Halo #Xbox
Halo 5 was a success. Im sure it made money as Halo was doing a lot better 11 years ago (albeit trending downward)
But they did a lot to hide Halo 5s actual popularity.
For instance to get their $400 million number they added console sales as well as revenue from accessories
And for their "best retention since Halo 3" number. They used monthly active users for a game that recieved monthly auto updates for most people.
Its daily active users (what actually matters) Was shown to not be that high based on where it frequently sat on Most Played
Again it wasn't a disaster by any means. It did ok.
But we should probably start living in reality now that the ACTUAL state of the franchise is in full view right now.
Oh good here come all the people who play 1 fucking video game saying Halo would be more popular if it was like the one videogame they play.
Halo chasing "the new generation of shooters" has decimated it and will continue to decimate it if continued.
Halo needs to get back to having prestige. It should be built with reverence.
If its built like every other game it'll continue to get lost in the crowd.
Resident Evil movie was a good time.
Absolutely could have been called something other than Resident Evil though. Or ironically, could have easily been called Resident Evil if they didn't use Raccoon City or Umbrella and used less of that iconography.
Resident Evil has enough room for everything Cregger tried to do. But once you try to use the RE2-3 setting thats when people have expectations of you remaining faithful to RE2-3. If this was a new virus in a new city with completely new characters. Ironically I think you...
