Release v3.8.1 is joint work by University of Ulm, Harz University of Applied Sciences, and University of Magdeburg.
Most of the contributions have been developed by a team of four master students in a software-engineering project at University of Ulm.
Release v3.8.1 contains contributions by Benedikt Jutz, Chico Sundermann (@ChicoSundermann), Elias Kuiter (@ekuiter), Johannes Herschel, Kevin Jedelhauser, Rahel Arens, Sebastian Krieter, Thomas Thüm (@ThomasThuem), and Tobias Heß (@h3ssto).
v3.8.1 is released with significant improvements over v3.8.0. It is available on the update site and prepackaged versions will follow soon: github.com/FeatureIDE/Featur…
We strongly recommend the update as prior versions produce wrong analysis results for certain feature models.
More details on the bug: github.com/FeatureIDE/Featur…
Thanks to Marc Hentze and Chico Sundermann for the report and Sebastian Krieter for the fix.
Do you use FeatureIDE v3.7.0, v3.7.1, v3.7.2, or v3.8.0?
We found a critical bug in the translation of feature models to conjunctive normal form, which causes WRONG ANALYSIS RESULTS for certain models. Please update to v3.7.3 or v3.8.1.
