Here’s a hot take.
If you had me hooked up to the electric chair and you said “watch the Presidents Cup, or we’ll flip the switch.” I’d say “flip the switch.” #glorifiedmemberguest

I’m sorry but if you’re going to keep banging the JT drum, you’re just being completely unserious. He’s hit 2/10 fairways in this match and missed the green on both par 3s he’s played.
His mentee, Jackson Koivun, is playing this match one on two
Jackson is doomed.
Justin Thomas is paired with rookie Jackson Koivun today at the Presidents Cup. Justin has taken Jackson under his wing this week, and he spoke about the relationship ahead of the first day of action:
“Yeah, he's impressive. He's a really, really good player, first and foremost, but he's a great kid. He's got his head on right. Hats off to his parents; they've done an unbelievable job. He's very, very mature for his age. I think that's something you can't -- none of us could instill in him in a week.
“I think the fact that he has the maturity and the correct outlook on everything, he's obviously really competitive and he's obviously really talented. I'm excited for him this week. It's going to be an awesome experience for him.”
Justin and Jackson are in the third match of the day for the US Team at Medinah against Corey Conners and Nico Echavarria for the Internationals.

Who's the guy in the 2nd picture? What's he done to deserve a spot on this team?
The U.S. Team has arrived at Medinah Country Club.

Callaway saw this dumb ad in collaboration with Good Good Golf (inspired by Obession), signed off on it, published it with GG & they receive no repercussions
GG is being cancelled while Callaway isn’t condemned by the PGA Tour & all of their products are still on the shelves.
👀
Interesting that @CallawayGolf asks us to make an ad then approves it then asks us to take the fall then drops us in a coordinated media blitz and covers it up by giving a million dollars away thinking everyone will be ok with it. 30 for 39 will be legendary.

Ryan Fox says the way he played the final hole to win The Open with a birdie was the best hole he’s ever played in his life. He also said he told his caddie on the tee he was going to take it on and try to win the tournament right there:
“Yeah, definitely the first part. I mean, I hit two shots exactly how I wanted to hit them. I didn't feel anything for the putt; everything was shaking that much. I was just happy to hit it somewhat near the hole, and to see it go in was incredible.
“I did say to my caddie, Dean, on the tee that we were going to take it on, that I was going to try to win the tournament, and I'd live with the consequences if I stuffed it up. To go out there and execute, that drive is not a very comfortable tee shot, obviously, and to hit it in the fairway and give myself a chance was huge.
“Then I landed on a good number. I think I had 160 metres to the hole. The breeze was a little down off the left. Obviously everything is a bit jammed up there, so it was just a solid 9, and I hit it exactly where I wanted to hit it. I think I screamed to it, "Please be good," in the air, and it was.
“To cap it off with a putt -- everyone practises on the green, I guess, you've got to a putt to win a major championship, to win The Open. It's not like that in real life. It's not a very comfortable feeling. It's certainly very enjoyable when you see it go in.”
What a fantastic attitude and a great example of why Ryan is now the Champion Golfer of The Year. He knows how to get the job done 👊 🇳🇿
