@MDC_online My 15-year-old permit driver spotted this milk snake on the road in our neighborhood in Columbia. He practically slammed on the brakes to avoid hitting it. We safely moved it to the woods in our backyard away from the road after holding it for a few minutes. So cool! – at Missouri, USA

@MDC_online Walked up on this in our neighborhood yesterday evening on a family walk. I was sure it was a copperhead, but it did NOT have slit eyes. Do their eyes dilate at night? Looked completely round which threw me off. Copperhead, correct?
