Oh Boy! Trouble in Gainesville.
Vernell Brown III has played his last game for UF already. He is healthy enough to play, but this is what happens when your father is your agent trying to salvage a future NIL payday

The only evidence you need. Yes it was holding and NO he did NOT catch the ball ….

Belt to Ass huh 🤔
PSA to all BYU fans: Don’t be angry at Notre Dame after we give you BELT to ASS this Saturday night. It’s not our fault. Instead, direct your anger at Lincoln Riley & the USC admin for backing out of the ND-USC rivalry. BYU isn’t even lil bro (like USC), you’re too irrelevant for that. Just be happy you’re on our schedule and have College Gameday & a primetime game because of Notre Dame’s pull That’s all ☘️ 📠 #GoIrish

Well Damn, how did those double moves and simple digs work out 😝
Watching more BYU film and their corners are jumping every short route and screen. If ND just runs a couple of double moves or even simple digs/posts behind that aggression, those CBs are gonna be cooked and Carr should have a couple of easy chunk plays over the top. They’re gonna get torched.

Looking for an Orange parking pass for Central Michigan Game next Saturday. Please pass it along. Go Canes!

That game to me was the culmination of the roster and culture that Cristobal has been building to the last 4 years at Miami. youtube.com/on3sports/?sub_c…

Even Mason knows Bama is a Fraud
Mason made his CFP picks before the show today. Bottom line: he wanted Miami and Notre Dame in and Alabama out. Why no Alabama? He’s still sore about Bama getting in over FSU in 2023. Total FSU homer.

Yes it has 😆
Bad slot for ND. Basically pushes us out the CFP two ways. Bama loses to GA they are saved by jumping to 9. This is also gets us basically side by side with UM. The head to head gives them the spot of ND. Media influence has made its push it seems

Real-talk, how does the @CFBplayoffs skirt the rules and regulations they have front and center on their own website? These are literally the stipulations they’ve put in place: ✅ Strength of schedule? Comparable. Notre Dame is 42nd and Miami is 44th. Notre Dame lost to the two best team they played (No. 10 Miami, No. 19 Texas A&M) and Miami lost to two conference opponents (Louisville, SMU) who finished the year 8-4 …. while Miami’s best wins were No. 6 Notre Dame, No. 18 South Florida, No. 18 Florida State and No. 22 Pittsburgh—while the Irish beat No. 20 Southern Cal and No. 22 Pitt. ✅ The head-to-head battle? No. 10 Miami 27, No. 6 Notre Dame 24. ✅ Comparative outcomes of common opponents; Miami beat North Carolina State, Pitt and Stanford more soundly than Notre Dame did—the Irish had the more impressive win over Syracuse. Call it what it is; the CFP committee—and most in the college football media—didn’t expect 6-2 Miami to win its final four games and to get to 10-2. Every strawman argument made this past month; none were well-thought out by the opposition (especially the CFP with their moving-target explanation every week). ALL OF THESE HACKS expected to be able to say, “We’ll it’s a moot point now, as Miami finished 9-3, Notre Dame is 10-2 and there’s no head-to-head debate anymore as the Irish are in over the Canes!” Instead, Miami rolled in their past four games—a combined score of 151-41 over Syracuse, North Carolina State, Virginia Tech and Pittsburgh. All that “offensive consistency” the CFP was asking for? Miami was rolling up points and Carson Beck re-found his groove, throwing for 1,125 yards, 11 touchdowns and one garbage-time pick. Miami opened up the playbook with Gerald Pringle in at running back, while all-everything Malachi Toney has been throwing touchdowns, running reverses and has become the second-best receiver in America. Meanwhile, the defense that was a disaster last year—one of the best in the country this season. For context, Miami gave up 42 points in the season finale at Syracuse last year—while this team has give up 41 total points the past four games combined. The #CFP and the pundits went all-in with their illogical takes this past month, expecting it never to come to roost as Miami was going to lose somewhere—remember all that “Mario Cristobal is 3-10 in November the past three years!!” chatter—nobody saw 4-0 coming after losing at SMU to start the month. They wrote checks with their mouths that their asses couldn’t cash—and now it’s all coming to a head where accountability and credibility is all on the line. Checkmate, you amateurs and paid actors.

What the CFP rankings SHOULD look like: 1. Ohio State (12-0) 2. Indiana (12-0) 3. Texas Tech (11-1) 4. Georgia (11-1) 5. Ole Miss (11-1) 6. BYU (11-1) 7. Texas A&M (11-1) 8. Oregon (11-1) 9. Miami (10-2) 10. Notre Dame (10-2) 11. Oklahoma (10-2) 12. Alabama (10-2) BYU should be in as an 11-1 team in a power conference. Miami should be in by way of H2H over Notre Dame. Miami beat FSU while Alabama lost to the 5-7 Noles by 14. Notre Dame would be in, but could get bounced if Alabama wins the SEC. Conference Championship week would have COLOSSAL meaning: • Alabama is in a win-and-in, lose-and-out scenario. • Notre Dame not having the possibility for an autobid and sitting out during conference title week could cost them. • Winner of BYU/Texas Tech gets the first round bye week, loser has to play the extra game. The importance of each week of the regular season would still be highly valued: • Notre Dame-Miami • Alabama-Florida State • Miami-Florida State • Oklahoma-Alabama • Ole Miss-Oklahoma • Alabama-Vanderbilt • Texas A&M’s rivalry week loss costs them a bye week • + others Conference championships matter, no loser of a conference championship is dropped out for playing the extra game (Alabama is already out of the field with the other two autobids jumping in and if they lose they’d just stay as one of the first teams out), the regular season still has enormous value, and head-to-heads are honored.

Funny how Notre Dame fans are experts on interpreting “the analytics” until it’s time to talk about how Miami’s “horrible unranked losses” are actually considered the 24th and 29th best teams in the nation by @espn FPI

Absolutely they should. H2H has to matter, otherwise why do they play the games?
Momentum building for Miami to move past Notre Dame

We are in 100% agreement.
I stepped into the Notre Dame-Miami debate for the final time. ND and Miami are close teams by every metric, including the specific ones the CFP uses. Miami won the game. That has to be the most important thing or what's the point of all of this? nytimes.com/athletic/6851450…

If the final playoff spot comes down to Notre Dame vs Miami, and it likely will, Miami has to be the choice. Two 10-2 teams that played even schedules. The tiebreaker is the Miami head to head win over Notre Dame.
