I have my doubts on the legitimacy of the sequence data. Regardless it only supports a hypothesis, an actual investigation would be needed to confirm that this MERS virus exists.

No scientist would have ever inserted a proline in front of the cleavage site. It’s natural.

Probably a reason why after several years this paper has yet to be published

There would have been multiple steps along the way where you would have sequencing data. The chances that all of this just vanished is slim to none.

Great analysis. In addition, to make such a clone, you would have 1) know the full sequence and have kept that fact hidden for this entire time 2) ordered a variety of DNA segments for which no record exists) and 3) have notes showing all the steps involved in making the clone

Yes there is. Viral RNA was found in the animal cages in the market. And all early cases of the outbreak centered on the market. Worobey et al. Science 2022

Funny cause there’s no evidence it was engineered. Many CoVs have FCS sites. Now we know they get inserted naturally.

Anthony Fehr researches how coronaviruses cause disease. In fact, he was the first to establish a connection between a cellular modification and the anti-coronavirus response. @KUMolBio youtu.be/eqiJE3yQSic?si=HefM…

COVID and Flu are easily distinguished by both PCR and antibody tests. You can’t just say these patients had Flu without evidence. Flu cases were really low despite the fact that we were testing for it. Likely due to public health measures.

I don’t think most known carcinogens can do all of this. What a ridiculous post
