The sooner the better.
There's little or no point in planting trees with grey squirrel population as it is now. The amount of damage they have done to ours is staggering.
Let's have native red squirrels back in their rightful place in the UK and leave greys to the Americans.
We want to secure and expand the range of our native red squirrels.
The UK Squirrel Accord’s work on an oral contraceptive to control non-native grey squirrel populations is showing positive results.

Once the iX at the end had gone I moved from the back row to take its place and complete the i3 line. Naturally I parked neatly as well.
Another good day at the Electric Vehicles Festival at Gaydon today.
@EVFestivalUK
Other makes were there but a good representation of BMWi3 as now ending production.
A future classic?
Thank you @nationaltrust at Waddesdon.
Destination charging while visiting.
Looking forward to developments here and at other properties to expand the destination charging provision to cater for the increasing take up of EVs.
Meanwhile this is a great help today.
This is always a good event, getting better each time with more to see and of course the British Motor Museum included, which is well worth a visit in its own right.
I will be there.
Do you have something #EVSpecial ? We would 💚you to join us as we continue to build something #EVSpecial when we return on Sunday 3rd July @BMMuseum Display Tickets starting from just £10 Adults, £7 Children including full access to the museum. So what are you waiting for?
Belated thanks to @RybrookBMWi @Warwick_BMW for letting me have an i4 to test while my i3 was in for MOT and service.
This is a very competent car, bigger, lower and quicker than the i3 but still not as appealing for my purposes.
The i3 was and still is such an amazing car.
Inspirational farm visit with @LandworkersUK to Shimpling Park Farm thanks to @hanslope John and Alice for hosting us and the opportunity for some interesting discussions.
The sunshine was a welcome bonus.
According to @Minette_Batters this morning on Radio 4 farmers are now putting plants into landfill rather than growing them because they can't afford the gas to heat their glass houses. @NFUtweets
Landfill? Really? Why?
Please tell me it's not true.
Now the latest fear propaganda being pedalled in this country is that we won't have anything to eat without artificial fertiliser.
Let's debunk this nonsense. Organic farmers can produce plenty of good food without artificial fertiliser.
Of course that doesn't line Yara's pocket
Well worth a visit even if you have been before.
The museum has plenty of interesting exhibits as well so you can have a grand day out.
I'll be there.
Why not come and have a chat?
Looking at Going Electric? Where can you go to get impartial advice from those who have already made the switch? All combined with a fantastic day out for the whole family at the British Motor Museum.
And all from only £10 Adults, Family of 5 from £40!😍

Importantly there is an urgent need to control grey squirrels, which are not native and unlike red squirrels are bad news for trees, causing considerable damage.
They are also a big threat to red squirrels.
If we can get rid of greys then reds could regain their rightful place
Thanks to the collaborative work of organisations, #redsquirrel #conservation groups and landowners, #redsquirrels can still be seen in the UK. #Getinvolved with & support a group near you to boost the future of this #endangered #mammal.

Just a tiny snapshot from one of the stimulating sessions at @ORFC 2022.
This year there really seemed to be a spirit of optimism and some good examples of the benefits of combining acquired wisdom from those who have been around a while with the drive and enthusiasm of youth.
I'm attending Oxford Real Farming Conference 2022 #ORFC22. Let's start connecting with each other now. It's all online again this year in the end. @ORFC - via Whova event app whova.com/whova-event-app/
I just entered @AutoTrader_UK’s monthly️ #ElectricCarGiveaway & you can too! This month’s prize is a Tesla Model 3, worth over £44k! All information (including Ts&Cs) can be found here: bit.ly/3xDYOHy
This isn't an encouragement though!!
Saw this earlier today in someone else's garden but none of us could identify it.
I'm sure those on here with greater knowledge would be kind enough to put us out of our collective misery. @DaveGoulson?

EVs in the park. A good event but now we are physically locked in and apparently nobody is going to let anyone out until 4pm.
This isn't going to win any friends and what is supposed to happen in an emergency?
This is really taking the icing off the gingerbread!
Thankfully I managed to persuade the organiser to get a steward to let me out so thank you Craig and Dave?
Much appreciated as I have managed to get the work done that I needed to do today so my blood pressure is back to normal.
