Prodigal Son hit Netflix in January 2026 and quickly became popular, hitting the Top 10 in the U.S. with nearly 20 million views in its first few days, though specific, official Netflix view counts (like their weekly Top 10 metrics) aren't immediately available for this exact moment, its high chart ranking and positive reception confirm strong early streaming numbers. The show has dipped out of the Top 10 only once & bounced right back. #ProdigalSon rapidly climbed to the #10 spot on Netflix's U.S. TV charts by January 12, 2026. Reports indicate it garnered close to 20 million views within its first four days on the platform. Original Broadcast Success: Before Netflix, the show was a hit on Fox, with its pilot attracting over 8.5 million viewers across platforms in 2019.
