Why do refugees from the middle east go to Europe when Saudi Arabia and the gulf countries are majority Muslim and rich? They have much weaker social safety nets. They have tribal and religious beef. And, most of all, those countries don't want them. They are much, much more harsh about enforcing it, too. Why wouldn’t they want them? If England said they don’t want them, they’d be called Islamophobic. Rich oil states like Saudi Arabia not only have far fewer nationals, but their working class is imported slaves from much poorer counties that they don’t share any quality of life with, let alone wealth. Arabs are hesitant to taking them in having seen what they did in their own countries. When it comes to facing challenges with non-muslims, all these countries stand together and show they are united as Muslim brothers. But putting that aside and when it is them alone in the picture, they are not so united as they make out to be. Hypocrisy. You got it. Western tolerance is really not a thing elsewhere, nor is it something people in other regions aspire to. England would call itself Islamophobic. The Arab world, not being stupid, would also call England Islamophobic because it costs them close to nothing to call names and calling names might help their fellow Muslims. Back when Israel was new the Arab countries were more willing to accept Arab refugees but that changed because they sucked at integrating those refugees and it destabilized their already unstable countries. So now they don't. After Black September in Jordan and the Lebanese Civil War, Arab countries don't accept other Arab refugees. Hopefully someday soon western nations will grow some balls enough to not keep letting male migrants from Muslim countries who don't want to assimilate keep coming in. I think it'll happen but the damage might be done by then. Poland is that bastion as is Japan and China and Russia. Not just stopping the incoming, forced repatriation needs to occur. Start with the illegals and then those convicted of serious crimes. Certain crimes where their family has knowledge of the behaviour (terrorism, promoting extreme views, grooming gangs.) Evict the entire family.
