While most are still dreaming of seeding, let's see what you have for seed tenders! They come in all shapes, sizes and capacities. I'm looking for inspiration. #AgX #AgTwitter

I don't say this often, but Sunday is looking like one of those 'DO NOT TRAVEL UNLESS IT'S AN EMERGENCY' days. Near blizzard conditions across southern Ontario and Quebec. Even the risk of ice pellets and freezing rain near Lake Erie and Ontario.

Finished up our soybean plots today. On Nov 8th. In a T-shirt. Big thanks to our cooperators @cameron_iler and @ilerfarm for getting it done. 8 different XtendFlex varieties to choose from here. DKB32-12XF and DKB29-87XF tied at the top with 71 bu/acre on the clay near Harrow.

Weighed off my first field trial with a 2nd application of fungicide. Easy to see the split. A single app of DelaroComplete + half rate Proline at R1=234 bpa @18%. Adding a 2nd app 28 days later=239 bpa @18.6%. Big difference in plant health/stalk intactness, but only 5 more bpa

With the "right field" where you can make it all the way back, and a good lane, we can do 20 ac/hour at 100lbs. Tendering is a huge consideration, but thanks to @FingalFS, it eliminated trips to the retailer.

Cost of living is about to go up again in Canada, while whatever left of our competitive advantage will shrink.
It will add 17 cents per litre on gasoline, 21 cents to diesel, and 15 cents per cubic metre of natural gas.
The rebates that the gov promised but doesn't like to payout for small and medium business is going down from 9% to 5% and will add $500M in costs just this year.
What options do people have to avoid those costs without spending more money and who the heck are the 30% who support a higher cost of living?
