“May I speak each word as if my last word, and walk each step as my final one.
If my life should end today, let this be my best day.”
One of the things the data analysts on our side obsessed over was "composition"—whether the electorate looked close enough to 2024 for Republicans to win. And despite polls that showed a Democrat blowout, the data kept on telling us the same story: in some states turnout was merely OK, in other states it was downright amazing, and in no state was it catastrophic. There was a genuine sense of optimism on our team: our people were showing up.
So, I asked the smartest data guy I know, does that mean we're going to shock the world? "No," he told me. "We might do better than the polls suggest. But the data is telling us that a lot of Trump/Vance 2024 voters are pissed and planning to vote for the other guys. Our voters are turning out, but they may not vote for us."
Well, that looks prophetic now. Our voters did show up. In Florida, for example, the electorate was 9 points more Republican than Democrat, just a couple points worse than 2024. Undoubtedly there were places we could have done better on turnout. But the main problem is not turnout. The main problem is that many people who voted for Trump/Vance in 2024 voted for Democrats in 2026.
There will be a lot of infighting and arguing over what happened and why that is. One of the pollsters I really respect told me that our economic messaging wasn’t sharp enough down the stretch. I’m sure that’s true.
But the real reason we lost is obvious to almost everyone.
Another pollster—one of the smartest people I know in politics, told me yesterday we’d lose the generic ballot by 13 points. I felt negative going into Tuesday, but even I was shocked by this. In his polling, he saw that a lot of Trump 2024 voters were angry and planning to vote for Democrats. He asked those voters who had abandoned us what would cause them to come back on our team. The top four answers, accounting for nearly all of the responses were:
1) End the war
2) Focus on cost of living/inflation
3) Put America First
4) Change our relationship to Israel
Our voters showed up. And the above four reasons are why many of them voted for Democrats. This is according to a pollster who nailed the results. While many spent Monday attacking Rachel Campos Duffy for calling for a diplomatic resolution to the conflict, it turns out her political advice was sound. (She’s also a great person.)
In the next few months, there's going to be a lot of gaslighting. Expect to hear any number of establishment politicians say the solution to our woes is amnesty. I'm open to the idea that we should change enforcement—by focusing more on businesses that hire illegal labor, for instance. But anyone pushing amnesty is lying to you.
The reason we lost is the war. The president himself said so last night.
If you'd like to argue it was worth it, that losing the Senate for the next 6 years was worth it, then do so. Argue it was a worthwhile cost to pay. Agree or disagree, that's at least honest.
But everyone knows why we lost. And any honest conversation about where we go from here must start there.
I remain hopeful about our country. To the people who are pissed off and want to say, “I told you so”: you’re right, you did tell us so. Take that energy into electing Republicans who share your worldview. To the people who are just pissed at the results, you should be. Let’s take that anger and get back to the work of saving our country.

"Texas has added ~476k new lawful permanent residents in just the last four years. That scale of legal immigration is more than enough to erase the old GOP margin and produce the early Democratic lead we’re seeing tonight."
Texas is flipping blue in real time.
With ~36% of votes counted, Democrat Gina Hinojosa leads Gov. Greg Abbott 57%–42% (~2.14M to 1.57M).
Abbott won by 11 points in 2022.
Texas has added ~476k new lawful permanent residents in just the last four years.
That scale of legal immigration is more than enough to erase the old GOP margin and produce the early Democratic lead we’re seeing tonight.

You can thank this POS for not getting the Save America Act passed.

Not hard to figure out why the Texas race is so close. This is what happens when leftist refugees from California, New York, and every other failed blue state come to a red state. They flee the mess they created, then vote to recreate it here.

Blows my mind that Democrats could be ahead anywhere in this country after what Biden did in the trafficking of 400,000 minors across the southern border for four years. Truly blows my mind. Democrats don’t care about trafficked children. We’re at that point in society. It’s heartbreaking to be honest.

John Thune should resign his seat effective immediately. He's the big loser of this midterm. He could have prevented this by passing the Save Act. He's a total failure.

RINOs Thune and Johnson failed the American people by running out the clock on the Trump agenda.
Hopefully you can see that RINOs and democrats are on the same America last team.
Our Republic will now be dragged through the mud for two years.

Adolf Hitler's own nephew wrote to President Roosevelt asking for permission to join the American military and serve against his uncle's regime.
Yes. His own nephew.
And the story gets even more remarkable.
In 1942, William Patrick Hitler sent President Franklin D. Roosevelt a letter asking for the opportunity to serve the United States during World War II.
There was just one rather uncomfortable complication.
His last name was HITLER.
Roosevelt referred the request to FBI Director J. Edgar Hoover, and an investigation found no evidence that William was involved in subversive activities.
On March 6, 1944, he joined the United States Navy.
Historical accounts, including the U.S. Navy Memorial, credit him with receiving a Purple Heart.
After the war, he changed his surname to Stuart-Houston, settled on Long Island, and raised four sons.
Imagine carrying one of the most infamous surnames in history and choosing a completely different path.
You don't get to choose the family you're born into. But you absolutely get to choose the person you become.

🚨 Ilhan Omar posted a video and the song she chose is very telling. It’s a Somali Muslim rap song but if you translate the lyrics, it says:
“You will suffer and cry — we are the ones who rule this land — We impose taxes on our enemies, we punish them and fill them with resentment, we subjugate and humiliate them”
That is straight out of Quran 9:29. The verse that gave us the jizya tax and dhimmi status for non-Muslims. It instructs Muslims to fight the non-believers
Ilhan Omar is sending a message that we are all infidels to her
We have to mass deport Muslims from America while we still can
This is a member of Congress selecting this song. There is no way this isn’t intentional. This is the Islamic takeover of America

🚨 FINAL WARNING: President Trump just gave his last message before the midterms, standing at the Lincoln Memorial.
"The most important midterm I believe in my lifetime."
He laid out exactly what Democrats are running on. Open borders, trillions in new taxes, coming for your guns, transgender procedures on kids, and energy costs through the roof.
That's the agenda on your ballot tomorrow.
Polls open at 7 AM. Bring your friends. VOTE.

Final Farewell to an American Hero.
A solemn and heartfelt farewell took place at Bakersfield National Cemetery on Friday, October 23, 2026, as James T. Murphy, a 106-year-old WWII veteran, former prisoner of war, and Bataan Death March survivor was laid to rest.
As a young soldier, Murphy survived the Bataan Death March and more than three and a half years as a POW, facing starvation, brutal treatment, and forced labor in Japan's Mitsubishi copper mines.
In 2015, he accepted Mitsubishi Materials Corporation's historic apology on behalf of all American POWs subjected to forced labor during WWII.
We are deeply saddened by the passing of James Murphy, a true American hero and a man of great honor.
Rest in peace, James T. Murphy. 🫡
