Brighton Fire and Rescue

This is a true loss for @MunBrightON & a gain for @quintewest. Fire Chief @caddick_rick's frank sense & good humour won him the respect of his team & many in the community, including mine! I wish Rick all the best on his new journey & hope for nothing but success in his future.

Great job ENSS Graduates of 2020 Blue Dragons! Thank you to the parent volunteers for organizing the remarkable tribute and drive-by for the 2020 graduating class - and to the Northumberland @OPP_CR and @FireBrighton for helping with today's drive-by.

@FireBrighton has declared that the fire risk level is now level 4 - Extreme Risk. Only small camp fires, under strict supervision are permitted in the @MunBrightON !

I was pleased to attend Global Health Pharmacy yesterday & offer my sincere appreciation to them for opening Brighton's newest walk-in clinic. These are important initiatives for healthcare in Brighton and I'm pleased that these local shopkeepers are helping to fill these gaps.

@MunBrightON has a new Burn Permit System! Create an account at brighton.burnpermits.com and pay for your annual burn permit online. If you prefer you may continue to attend at the @FireBrighton South Hall to pay or ask any questions about the burn permits.

A pleasure to stand shoulder to shoulder with all of Council & @FireBrighton Chief, Deputy Chief & firefighters to showcase our newest fire truck. This truck will get equipment to a scene and has tank refilling capabilities for firefighters engaged in fire suppression.

Great to host @RuddKim @DavidPiccini to discuss #Brighton flood & tour! We agreed to advocate that @IJCsharedwaters review Plan 2014 & seek assistance for homeowners, municipalities & water abatement. Thanks to @FireBrighton Chief Caddick for touring us along the shoreline.
