Today we mark @999Day.
Our Chief Officer Martin Blunden led our efforts to honour the extraordinary efforts of current emergency service staff and to remember all the brave men and women we have lost.

Simply asking a person how they feel can help save lives. Sometimes it’s the first time that a person will have had an opportunity to talk through what they are feeling and experiencing.
Listening shows you care and can make a huge difference.

It’s Test It Tuesday! Making sure you have working smoke & heat alarms could save your life. Test them weekly to make sure if fire does break out everyone in your home has time to get out safely.

By February 2022 every home in Scotland must have interlinked fire alarms – so that when one goes off they all go off. Find out what the new law means for you on the Scottish Government website.
